Comments Thread For: Hearn: I'll Pay Wilder $5M to Fight Anyone He Wants Next in N.Y.

Eddie Hearn considers what he has offered Deontay Wilder an unbeatable package the WBC heavyweight champion shouldn't turn down. Whether Wilder will accept it is another matter, but Hearn reminded Wilder that he'll make less money for his next fight if he declines it. In addition to offering him a $15 million purse for facing Anthony Joshua on April 13 at Wembley Stadium in London, Hearn is willing to pay Wilder $5 million for his next fight.

              ...On DAZN.

It's not like Hearn doesn't have something to gain here.

Sometimes you can accept being treated like a b*tch! Canelo treated GGG like a b*tch, but GGG is getting a split!

                June 13, 2018:

Two hours after the Golden Boy Promotions-imposed 12 p.m. PT deadline for Golovkin to accept an improved offer under which Alvarez would get the lion's share of a 57½-42½ revenue split came and went, and with Golden Boy CEO Oscar De La Hoya telling ESPN "there is no fight," the sides came up with a last-ditch idea that convinced GGG to accept the terms.

                http://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/i...nalize-rematch

We know GGG is getting at least 42.5%! Even Parker got a 30% split! A 15 million dollar flat-fee is basically asking you to suck AJ's d!ck. If Wilder accepts the fight for a flat-fee, he might as well fight in pink lace boxing shorts! I'm sure Oscar has a couple of outfits for Wilder, if need be!

It's Eddie Hearn saying I want to buy out your contract. He thinks he can buy Wilders silence over the obvious duck...and get him to promote DAZN in the process. Wilder wasn't taking the 15mil before...why would he take it now? I still say Wilder should call Furys bluff. He needs to take back control of this situation and leave Eddie back in the UK/Europe.
