No, he should hope Jacobs wins the IBF belt and then try to set up a unification with Saunders and then a rematch with Jacobs after the Canelo fight. Those would be the biggest money fights left for Golovkin and it could set him up to retire the undisputed WBA (Super)/WBC/IBF/IBO/WBO/Ring/lineal champion. If he took out Canelo, Saunders, and Jacobs in three straight fights at the end of his career to become undisputed, that would put him right up there with the all-time middleweights. He's already the best of his era.
Of course that's much easier said than done. But he still has business at middleweight, and he's nearing the end of his days as a top level fighter. Abel Sanchez himself said he thinks Golovkin probably has 4-5 big fights left in him. That's 2-3 years.
