    Will GGG move to 168?

Is there any scenario where he moves up? There was the talk of him moving up to fight Ward at 168, but he didn't want to move up at the time. Now that Ward no longer fights, will GGG be more likely to move up?

Lol. GGG wanted to move up for a big fight, PPV. Ward or not, it has nothing to do. If there's a big fight on 168, he might fight there.

lil G can move where he wants, hes earned that right if he wants 168 then he will be there, trust me. The proof is in the pudding, like we cant say Ward is moving to Cruiser until it happens.

Even big G, hes been in SMW for ages and he never chased Ward.

So why should lil G have moved up immediately for ward when GGG had only just won his first recognised title in 2014? He has a right to pack in some defences first.

Maybe if the right opportunity came along. Groves vs GGG would probably do good numbers in the UK. If he loses to Canelo then he could move up for one last fight before retirement.

he might be a bit lil for the higher division, to be fair, he needs a tuneup first to see if his gifts will carry.

Staying in 160 for over 12 years, and naming all your opponents real threat..makes me think he aint going anywhere. with all the respect to Golovkin.

There was an article from Sanchez touching upon this exact issue.

In short, if Groves/Smith winner unifies with Ramirez and/or Benavidez, then possibly. Otherwise, highly unlikely.

You don’t have to move up just because you get bigger. A lot of fighters move up for GREATNESS something ggg and his team seem to not have interest in
