Of course he’s pissed. He’s missing out on a big payday.

Anyway, the 75/25 split is ******ed and so the IBF and their ranked fighters have to expect to be fighting against these things.

Who the hell would want to give 75% to another contender who’s less of a draw than you and who hasn’t fought anyone real in years?

The Parker fight will raise Whyte's profile and should make him a lot of money.
Team Joshua definitely looked after him in this case then, earning 25% of the purse to go to Bulgaria? I thought the person that travels gets more of the pot? I swear Timothy Bradley had that in one of his fights.

Pulev has won an IBF eliminator, Whyte hasn't. That is why it's 75/25 in Pulev's favor. You're supposed to have to win two eliminators to become the mandatory. If a fighter lucks into a position where they only have to win one eliminator, but the other fighter would have to win two, that other fighter gets a lot more money.

As for traveling overseas impacting the split, you're thinking of the WBO. That's not an IBF rule. The WBO will modify the 75/25 split to 80/20 if the champion goes to the home country of the challenger.

It would be completely fine, if Whyte and Hearn say to IBF: "**** you and your rules, find someone else to fight with Pulev." But no: negotiations with Sauerland, then purse bid, then Whyte told Sky Sports on May 22 "Pulev doesn’t want to fight, why he is taking so long to agree the fight" and "I hate boxing, it’s full of cowards". And after all that, he won't fight Pulev.

Whyte and Hearn are talking complete bull****. If there was a deal with Sauerland (so no 75:25), no purse bid, no Epic as winner of the purse bid and the match was in London, he’d fight Pulev.

There's logic in the money, but Hearn is talking things like: "I don't trust Pulev, sorry". Sure, this is the reason Whyte won't fight him...

Am not arguing whether Pulev won an Eliminator or not, this is not an argument in regards to the WBC.

Secondly Pulev team didn’t win the purse bid from what I heard, a neutral person with no connection to either fighter won the purse bid.

And thanks for refreshing my memory regarding Bradley, i wasn’t sure which organisation he fought under, but I did remember him taking less to get his challenger to come to him.... Not sure if am entirely accurate with that too, it might be the other way round.

im simply explaining why its 75/25. pulev earned a top two ranking by winning an ibf eliminator.

whyte isnt in the top two because he hasnt won an ibf eliminator.

thats why its 75/25 for pulev, because pulev went thru the trouble of winning an eliminator.

I know why it’s 75/25 lol, am not arguing about someone else’s money. I see why he didn’t go for 25% and fighting away from home. That’s my point but it means it’s a duck! That’s how you support the sport of boxing, not back A fighter even when they have done wrong! Am not going to back Whyte in this stance.

It’s funny how Parker is some bum the moment Whyte signs to fight him. This is a better option than fighting a man who just got knocked out in Ortiz.

But Hearn has shown that there's a reason why he's one of the best promoters on the planet he's a tricky SOB and simply bypassed the Pulev fight and set up a more competitive and lucrative fight with Parker on SKY PPV.

Pulev tried to play the A-side by holding out and winning the purse bid with Epic but he isn't the A-side and Hearn very quickly and brutally exposed that by shunning the Pulev fight. Fact is this is the 3rd eliminator for Pulev that's fallen through this year he needs to realise nobody is paying him 75% to fight him in Bulgaria. If he had simply agreed terms before the purse bid he would likely be making 400k plus fighting in the UK against Whyte, now he's getting nothing and again is left without an opponent.

                    Epic bid $1.5 mil

                    Hearn bid $831,111

Whyte was gonna get $207,777 with Hearn promoting the fight

Whyte was gonna get $375,00 with Epic promoting the fight

Now Whyte is on a PPV and his pay will depend on how well the PPV does. Probably not getting more than $300,000 guaranteed. Kell Brook was getting $200k headlining shows in the UK

If Whyte is able to fight a former champ who just lost his belt in Parker, who can blame him? If he beats him, he will move up higher than he would if he beat Pulev.
