70/30 is where it started so it had to of gone up from there? As ESPN said Oscar, Canelo, and even LOEFFLER were coming up with a compromise And its GGG refusing to do 50/50. So the Sept. rematch not happening is ALL on GGG. Just like the May fight being ALL on Canelo.

Either way Im not gonna cry over spilled milk. Jacobs vs. Canelo is PERFECTLY fine with me. Plus Jacobs is an all around good guy who has a heck of a good story to tell. So im GLAD he got the fight and deserves it.

Now lets see which way GGG goes? Charlo, Sergiy, or the usual Bum/Tomato Can.

Spot on regarding both being at fault for fight #2 not happening (yet, hopefully).

GGG fought the #1 (Canelo) and #2 (Jacobs) available fighters back to back in his division, and I'm struggling to think of other fighters in the past few years who've done that. Gassiev will be fighting at least the #1 available (Usyk) and fought the #2/#3 available (Dorticos). The guys who've fought #1, #2, or top notch fighters back to back are great company for GGG, either way. I think a soft touch (Vanes) is reasonable after those two fights, although fighting a MW would have made more sense for a MW fighter.

canelo fought trout and flyd back to back and then lara not much later... the jacobs fight was enforced and canelo fight was for the money, canelo fought floyd for the money too but his fights with trout and lara were considered legit high risk low reward fights...

That was a great 4 fight stretch for Canelo (Trout in 2013, Floyd in 2013, Angulo in 2014, and Lara in 2014). Canelo definitely earned his respect and A side status.
