It tells me that Canelo draws when he has a formidable opponent. Particularly given that GGG has only pulled 160k in a ppv.

There are 4 types of ppv buyers: 1)Canelo fans just because its Canelo. 2) Canelo fans because he's fighting somebody good. 3) GGG fans because he's GGG. 4) GGG fans because he's fighting somebody good.

The Jacobs fight says to us all that no matter how good the opponent, GGG gets only 160k ppv. Which means that of the 1.5M, most of them were from categories 1 and 2. To me, that makes 60-40 quite reasonable if not generous.

I agree with your assessment, but when you consider that Canelo tested dirty and ruined the May Date and lost GGG $20M already and now GGG is most likely going to lose the IBF Belt if he faces Canelo in September then that 40-60 should be moved closer to 50-50.

Cotto was good. 900k. They bought the fight because it was GGG.

I don't think lil g would lose to Sergiy, he has only 12 fights & it seems like the lil g fans are TRYING to make Sergiy seem like a monster so lil g can get credit for beating him. Jermall Charlo is what got lil g & his team & his fans shook.

Sergiy Ive seen some of his fights hes good. I would probably only put Charlo, GgG, Canelo, Jacobs, and maybe Saunders above him? Hes not an easy out.

Whatever, I'm over this rematch at this point. Canelo deserved the L in the first fight and everyone knows it. Even his few remaining groupies know it. I hope jacobs beats down Canelo and let charlo beat ggg and hopefully we'll get the 2 winners fighting each other right away instead of all the diva like behavior and ducking we had to endure for the past few yrs.

Nelo whooped lil g in the 1st fight & its gggroupies for lil g.

Nelo/Jacobs is a solid fight. I don't know who would win that. I won't be surprised I Nelo won a close fight.

Jermall can still fight Jacobs after he finishes lil g.

Why is everyone ****ting on Nelo fighting Spike if Nelo had a year out the ring? Spike would whoop vanes....And NOBODY even thinks of lemux just the lil g fans TRYING to keep lemux relevant which he NEVER WAS.

If he was out for a year due to injury, he would get a pass, but since it was due to PEDs...nah! Not only that, look at the 3 fights he had prior to GGG! He had to come back strong, and Jacobs does the trick for me! I would've been cool with Saunders, Charlo, or Andrade too!

I'm not an anti-Canelo guy at all. I really enjoy watching him fight but in this instance we have a classic "Name Drop." No way Canelo fights Jacobs next..Too much danger for too little payoff..I'd like to see Jacobs get a great fight/payday but this aint it...P.S. I'll bet all my points
