Golovkin deserves respect, Canelo can take his money elsewhere. This one is simple.....GGG should not back down. The PED cheat should not be rewarded with an xtra $20 mill by going 60/40.

Canelo isn't making GGG money fighting Spike or Lemieux. Jacobs, Charlo, Saunders, Andrade and Derevyanchenko all beat Canelo. Styles make fights and Oscar knows all are a terrible match-ups for Canelo.

Yes he will, he is boxing's biggest attraction right now. lil g is getting exposed left & right & his fan base is sinking (not much to sink....lol). Nelo/Jacobs is a great match up, the TWO that BEAT lil g going head to head.

Canelo's not young he'll be 28 most and Mexican fighters are done by 32 or 33 and he's fighting at 160 when he should be at 154 so he'll break down even faster with the bigger competition...

canelo isnt your typical mexican fighter, he is a counterpuncher and has yet to take a beating, he has great defense just look at his face after fights, if you want to compare him to other mexicans just look at marquez who fought until his 40's with the same style and took more beatings... canelos defense is his guarantee to fight at least another decade at a good level...
if ggg couldnt put a beating on him then i dont see no other at 160 capable of doing it, maybe he gets outpointed but i highly doubt it...

Hearn/Jacobs may just be the beneficiary of GGG's pride or his desire to hold on to the IBF/WBC belt.

Dumbazz canelo/chavez did 1M buys last year without floyd, cotto, or GGG. He's sold over 4.5M ppvs in his career WITHOUT GGG. GGG is not cotto. Cotto had a decade worth of ppvs he sold without canelo that he brought to the table. Other then Floyd and Manny cotto was the biggest draw the last decade. GGG has sold 300K ppvs his career without canelo. lol And canelo is a much bigger draw today then he was before he beat cotto hence canelo/chavez sold more then canelo/cotto yet nobody is saying chavez is a bigger draw then cotto or that he should of been paid as much as cotto. Nobody is ever getting 50% fighting canelo unless your name is Floyd nobody is a equal or bigger draw then him today. Especially not a clown who flopped in every ppv he was involved in before canelo and who can't even sellout the stubhub.

GGG turned down 20M demanding much more when he just made 1M to fight vanes and made 2.5M last year to fight Jacobs. Canelo brings the money to the table and made over 20M last year to fight chavez. GGG needs canelo to make money and sell ppvs. Canelo has proven he makes money and sells ppvs without GGG. If you take emotions and fanboy dyck licking out of the equation there is no argument to make to justify GGG getting paid 50%. He priced himself out the fight. Even his own promoter negotiated and signed off on the terms for sept its GGG who refused to sign and blew up the deal his own promoter apparently thought was more then fair.

Instead of writing essays how about you save yourself sometime and actually pay attention when you read. I said OVER 1m BUYS!!!

unless you think Canelo-Jacobs would do over 1.5 million buys, or unless you think Golden Boy is going to give Jacobs 50-50 split, Im not sure how you see a scenario where Jacobs makes $20,000,000


Besides, even if Oscar truly wants to make the fight, you know there is a 75% chance that Connely screws it up

If this fight happens (of course Im a bit skeptical), it really makes the pending IBF ruling all that more important. If Jacobs gets Canelo and is gone from the IBF rankings, the options for Derev just got a whole lot weaker. It will be interesting to see what the IBF decides to do.
