Canelo making 20M paydays WITHOUT GGG while GGG fighting for 1M in a 1/3 empty Stubhub. GGG is pushing 40 with only a couple fights left but will have to fight 6-10 times just to make the money he just lost out on. Canelo is not even 30 yet with tons of big money fights he can make with or without GGG. GGG can't make money without Canelo. His fans are delusional and broke. They only tune in if GGG fights are free and can't afford tickets unless they are dirt cheap. Vanes fight took food stamps and gave away thousands and still couldn't fill up that tiny venue.

How is 36 pushing 40? 28 is pushing 30 then.. Most Mexican boxers track record = over the hill by 32-33.

There is still no official final tally for the Cinco de Mayo weekend fight, which was contested at a catchweight of 164.5 pounds. But multiple industry sources told ESPN the fight likely will settle closer to 1.2 million buys, meaning the domestic pay-per-view will have generated about $80 million, though around half that money goes to the cable and satellite providers.

chavez isnt a great dance partner, he has been fighting on cable tv with horrible ratings for years, just wait for his next fight if you dont believe me...
oscar was very smart and sold a rivalry to mexicans, they can very well do it again with someone like munguia or benavides in the future...
canelo is young and doesnt need to sell a million ppvs next , in the other hand ggg isnt going to sell above 200k without canelo(maybe wont fight on ppv again) and has only a few fights at the high level left on him..

I doubt HBO as bad as their year they are having agrees to Spike over Jacobs. ESPECIALLY knowing their is a legit actual offer on the table for Jacobs.

And you spend your life trying to convince yourself you were a real promoter. Nobody cares about your failed business or your opinion take your tongue out GGG's azz he priced himself out the fight and it backfired. Have fun watching GGG continue fighting bums. That's what you clowns do best try to defend GGG's shyt resume and act like it's everyone else's fault that GGG the hypocrite who once said I am not a business man yet he just ducked his mandatory and now ducked a 20M career payday. If anyone else was demanding a 50/50 split after GGG offered them a career payday you would call them a duck and have called other fighters a duck for asking for much less then 50/50 to fight GGG.

this is important cuz jacobs signed a multi fight deal with hbo and hearn, so they both want to make the most money out of him and will try to make it happen by any means...

When the say the fight is LIKELY to do over 1m but never release the final tally. Like with Mayweather fights that did do well.. that tends to mean it's not gonna do what they said. I'll stick with 1 million. Chavez did 500k with Martinez and safe to say he was the draw at that time. So basically Jr name alone brought 300-400k buys Canelo name alone 400-600k

Cherry picking 1 fight? Where Canelo vs a unknown fighter who NEVER fought on US or Mexican TV and never fought on US soil and still it did DOUBLE the PPVs of GGG's biggest fights of his career. Canelo/Smith isn't even a top 10 Canelo fight yet it made more money then any GGG fight filled 52,000 in a football field. Smith is basically Vanes yet the difference is Canelo can still fight guys like that and sell PPVs and fill seats. Vanes fight sold about 4K tickets and they gave away a few more thousands for free. Couldn't even get 8,000 people to show up. Love how you keep trying to ignore Canelo/Chavez 1M, Canelo/Khan 600K, Canelo/Cotto 900K. When he fights anyone the public has actually heard of and seen he drawing 600K-1M PPV buys. GGG even with quality names sells 97K buys with lesser names he isn't even fighting on PPV. One guy is a star that fans actually care about enough to buy their PPVs the other isn't. GGG would sell his left nut to be able to sell 300K PPVs in a fight and that is the worst Canelo has ever done LMAO

Yup! Im just GLAD its not Spike! I was gonna have to reevaluate being a Canelo fan if it was that fight. Win or lose to Jacobs Im still a fan of his. Just dont give me no BS Vanes fights. I HATE mismatches and refuse to watch them. Only reason I watched Vanes was I had a $300 bet that it wouldnt last past round 4.

If Spike beats someone worthy and makes #1 and Canelo has to accept the mando I wont Bi@tch about it then. Until he does he doesnt even belong in the same dressing room with Canelo let alone the ring.
