Wilder at the very least is doing ok, he will be making a couple million a fight even against the Breazeales of the world. It is true he doesn't have that many great options but they can recycle Parker and do a rematch with Ortiz if need be. Mix in some also rans and he can make several million dollars with minimum risk and still be alright because it is not like the Joshua thing is going away so his name will be at the top of the division through that alone.

Now he is doing a lot better with a Joshua fight actually happening but he is not hurting that badly. Wilder could also end up facing Fury first which would be big money for those guys and make the Joshua showdown for all the marbles.

Give Joshua another 19 fights am sure he would fight a Malik Scott in America too lol.

I doubt he would want to face Fury first (Not saying he doesn’t want to at all). That is a fight he could lose depending on which Fury we see next, and even if Fury is back to his glory he would prefer a Joshua showdown to Wilder. Money talks, even Parker would prefer another Joshua payday than a Wilder fight.

Wilder should have priced that belt off Parker with any amount. His team really didn’t do too well for his career until Joshua’s name came up, Joshua link to Wilder in the last 13 months has done more for Wilder’s career than anything his team has done for him.

It is a shame really, you have a guy that speaks English, HW, power, talks trash and you wait until he was 32 before doing anything with him!!! They should be ashamed off themselves.

What he really wanted to say

"Anthony Joshua wants to fight in the UK, and I don't want to pay any more than the original $12.5m offered, even with concrete proof that the pie is bigger outside of the UK, and he's going to play the media game in hopes of either getting Wilder to fight for less money or avoid the fight altogether"

Why didn't the article mention Wilder has also fought in the UK. He also flew to Russia to fight Povetkin but he tested positive for steroids. Aj had a home cookimg during the olympics as well as 2 early stoppages in a roe and a shaky ref the whole parker fight. Kind of sketchy for Wilder to risk going over there

If the Joshua fight falls through, Wilder is going to be ok.

Breazeale, Whyte-Ortiz winner (preferably Ortiz, tbh), and Kownacki are all good fights for Wilder, and he should get a listed pay of $2m+ for each of the fights.

Still, Wilder has the US stage to build from, the country is finally starting to pay attention, and that monster right hand delivers the type of excitement that will end up making the opponent (unless for major events) matter less.

Joshua hides in the UK, taking on so-so opposition while avoiding Wilder, and this potential billion dollar fighter becomes a $300m-$400m Joe Calzaghe.

His stock has just shot up exponentially. Hearn couldn't help Wilder better if he was his manager. Wilder is a household name in the UK now thanks to Hearn and AJ.
If this fight don't pull through, wilder still goes back to his regular 1.5mil. Until he fight AJ, his stock remains the same.
                  It's a fact.
That so called 50mil is coming out from the moon solely because of AJ. Wilder has had 40 fights and showtime has never pulled out 3mil for him, what does that tell you? They not confident enough to put him up on ppv.

Noo, public will force him to go use his right hand to get the belts.
Public will be tired of watching him fight bums. Thou, nobody watch him on ppv, so no point wasting time.
