Let me understand this....so the guy who has to step in the ring to face Horn says "Horn Tougher To Fight Than It Looks From the Outside" yet the legion of Horn HATERS continue to insist it will be a walk in the park!!
Glad to see Crawford acknowledge that...I was impressed with how Horn consistently avoided Pac's left hand by moving to his left, especially early. He has some skills. Should be a good, tough close fight I think.
Its basic training to move away from a Sth Paws power hand.
Horns only chance is to be very physical if TC gets a little space and can hurt Horn with accuracy and speed it wont go 8, the other thing with this is Terrance likes to fight and that could give Horn some openings to land something big, speed kills and boxing is a speed sport if TC gets into a rhythm he will chop him up like liver, lots of skill difference in this.

Not sure why you quoted me here? Training to stay away from a southpaw's left hand and doing so effectively are very different, especially against a great one.
I think there was more skill difference between Hurd/Lara and Linares/Loma and while I had Lara and Loma winning (up until the stoppage), they were both very close fights. Horn's size will be a pretty big factor I think. Crawford is great but Horn is by far the biggest guy with talent he has faced. Should be a good fight, we will see.
If Bud can't "influence" this guy with his power he will be in a fight.
Manny is not the puncher everyone here thinks he is. Stopping guys like Hatton doesn't mean a thing plus that was a long time ago. This kid threw Manny around like he was a doll.
Bud you better get some body work started by the second round and work this kid hard and often. This guy reminds me of the old "spoilers" that at times are a pain in azz to handle.
If Horn handles Bud's shots this could get down and dirty real quick!

There is no comparison between MP and Crawford. Crawford is just far slicker and also has more variety to his game. The answer here is stick and move and lateral movement. Pac has some lateral movement but not like Crawford.
Yes he was allowed to throw Pac around by an incompetent/corrupt ref. He won't be allowed to do that next weekend.

Basic training to move away from a southie huh, what if Bud switch hits? Uh oh
He also gave Pacquiao a tougher fight than most. Outside of Mayweather and Marquez, who's given Pacquiao a bigger challenge than Horn since Pacquiao lost to Morales in 2005?
Horn's downfall vs. Crawford will be his chin. He's been down vs. Bailey and Funeka previously and was badly hurt vs. Pacquiao. Crawford is in peak form and will finish him.
I agree with you that Horn doesn't get his deserved respect.
And his chin still is up for debate. But Bailey is a pretty big puncher, and also clearly hit Horn in the back of the head and kind of held him down. In any event that punch was not on his chin at all.
Funeka is also a decent puncher, but he dropped Horn with a body shot/head butt/left elbow combination, again not even coming close to his chin.
And in the 9th round vs Pac I think Horn was tired, but I don't think he was really hurt.

At world level he has no talent - he is athletic, has a good chin and he's courageous in that he'll take 2 punches to get one in. If Pac could have Horn teetering in the ninth then Crawford will achieve it much earlier.
Jeez, sometimes I think there are trolls on here building up Horn so that more praise falls on Crawford. At a golden division like WW this is about as easy of a title match that you can get.
not saying you are a troll - just saying I totally don't rate Horn when he is up against top 3 P4P in his prime and not on his home turf.

Got it.
How long have you been following boxing? Crawford just like all other boxers. You show respect when th efight is made, then you trash talk deep and dirty until about 2 weeks before a fight and then you switch with feint praise so that you at least get some credit when you win.
Sound alien to you? Just go back to Mayweather and McGregor - even Mayweather talked up McGregor a little. GGG talked up Vanes. Get the picture now?
he's very smart to acknowledge the awkwardness and other qualities that make horn effective in the ring. quite the opposite of pacquiao, who seemed to completely underestimate horn, and u saw the end result of that. crawford has always appeared very intelligent to me. and a lot of u keyboard punks would be smart to take a page from his book- never underestimate a fighter. but if course, you're mostly a bunch of dumb mofos, so you'd never get that lesson, no matter what
Yea, the END RESULT was Pacquaio easily won the fight but was robbed by crooked judging. Comments like yours show what the world is coming to.
