I have no doubt that Wilder would go to the UK, but he wants it in the states as is clear by the offer given to Joshua.
His interview this week he said I offered you the $50 mil you wanted and you turned it down. Parker got 33%, I'm a bigger draw than Parker, I want 40%.

I think its being more effective .

Wilder is a more harder guy to gage ,he doesn't need to box better .

Povetkin at 6'2 would be less threatening to tall punchers .

Hes definatley a resume builder if you add him .

His sole loss is Wlad but if were going on whos more threatening ? Its Wilder .

Whos resume is poor thats not even debatable ......

He may be the most dangerous HW with the worst resume in boxing history ? lol

That's a strange interpretation of the situation. Hearn is offering the fight to Wilder, if he will come to the UK for it. If Wilder doesn't accept Hearn's offer, AJ will have to fight his mando, Povetkin. He won't have any choice about that.

And from what I'm hearing, Hearn is confident that Povetkin will come to the UK for it, rather than forcing a purse bid.

Oh we'll find out soon enough. Just like we found out the fight was worth more than $40 million and that the counter offer was real.

It's been clear since forever that Parker got like 7m or so. Impossible to compare.

And also, I'm not saying Wilder doesn't the fight. But he clearly doesn't want to go to the UK (if he doesn't have to)

He, just like AJ, is accepting less money to have it in his home country.

Hearn can only improve so much and that's what is important.

                  The gate is smaller

You don't get a site fee

                  You don't get US PPV

But...you do have to pay to rent whatever stadium you use.

You won’t get much response from Wilder fans on this, they don’t like to look at boxing records much, understandably given who they cheer lead for.

Two half decent opponents in 40 fights still has me wide eyed, and even those two were stiffs for different reasons. Seven defences and just two ranked opponents...really it’s a joke he even has fans, says a lot about the state of US HW division.
