instead of going on and on about one quick comment which sounded like a jokey comment where joshua never said anything about vegas and he has always and only said this fight is going to be in the uk, wilder fans should be asking their guy why he backed out of saying he would fight joshua in the uk, no problem he said
Thats as clear as day, i will go to the uk and knock joshua out he said!!!!! He wont do that now!!!! Hello !!!!!
its pathetic

Therefore both parties will likely need to compromise, which is back to my original point. You can stop trying to argue the sky is green again, and get back to talking **** about how good the WBC belt is. Good day.

Listen, wilder clearly said hes coming to england to fight joshua and now hes not going? Whats going on here? Hes just giving joshua the green light to make some more easyish cash at home in london. Joshua has never said hes coming to the states for the wilder fight so wilder should make the fight at a good split (40%) for him and be happy at the chance to be undisputed. Come on wilder thats what u are talking about for ages now, u are the guy putting spanners in the works here or go back to 1 mil paydays, simple

He'd tried to call their bluff to prove the fight wasn't worth what they said it was worth and when it turned out they weren't bluffing, he refused to keep his word. You can't blame it on any sort of onerous clause because AJ has already admitted publicly he just wants the fight at home even if he makes less. So he's publicly admitted he's ducking. Which is fine. More power to him. But be honest about it. He's allowed to change his mind. He was willing to fight in America for $50 million and when they brought him the $50 million, he got cold feet. People get cold feet all the time. It happens. I'm not hating on the guy.
Likewise wilder has been offered well over treble his best ever pay day and turned it down; so he can hardly sit there saying he is doing everything possible to make he fight. If he was, it would already be announced.
But what we do know is that AJ has been offered, by far, the largest purse of his career, the exact purse he requested, and he's refusing to keep his word. Wilder wants 40% of a UK fight. If they call his bluff, he'll keep his word. That's the different between AJ and Wilder. AJ was all talk when he said give me $50 million. Wilder isn't all talk when he says give me 40% and I'll come to the UK.

AJ was commenting on Wilder's team's insistence the fight could make $100 million in the US. To call their bluff he said if it can really make $100 million in the US, give me $50 million and I'll sign tomorrow.
So don't try to act like location wasn't stipulated. The entire $50 million request was based on the notion that Team Wilder was claiming the fight could make $100 million in America.

Did he strictly say, give me $50m and I'll sign to fight in America tomorrow? No, he didn't. He was implying he didn't think the fight was worth that much.
You've got to also put that comment in context, at that point Wilders team weren't coming to Joshua with figures or terms. It was a blank slate. It was a comment designed to at least bring them to the table and show their hand.
Regardless, you know damn well Joshua, or any A side of a fight in any division isn't going to sell everything they've worked for and give up 100% control of everything, not when they're already making close to that money anyway. That isn't stipulated in the 'give me 50m' comment.
You don't think Floyd or Joshua have had opportunities to make more money out in Dubai or Saudi? Of course they have. But they don't take it because of conflicting interests in many other things associated with the fight and their respective careers.
