I know you're a die-hard GGG fan, so I sincerely request you're opinion. Do you think GGG should seriously consider Bob Arum's offer to fight Murata in Tokoyo, or should he keep trying to get a better deal with Canelo? I don't understand the strategy of continuously beating up Canelo in the press for being a PED cheat, and then begging for a 50/50 split. Canelo does nothing for his legacy, because since beating Cotto @ 155, Canelo has not proven he's a great MW fighter. I think GGG should fight Murata or Saunders next, and then try to re-negotiate for Cinco de Mayo 2019! What's your take?

Also, did you just pick Glaser's number for GGG because it was lower and not use Glaser's number for Canelo because it's higher? Bias much? Because I'm pretty sure Canelo vs a no name did around 200k according to Glaser.

That being said, considering this is a rematch, 35% - 40% seems fair to me. 50% is too high

I am saying no such thing. My point is that a free market does not factor in fairness. Whether i like GGG or not nothing to do with it. Loeffler and GGG had accepted a 35% split for the rematch. Then they decided to find an opponent for May 5. All the proved is that GGG has no drawing power. Furthermore GGG and Abel started a “ hair on fire” smear campaign which tick off Canelo and Golden Boy. They did nothing more than bite the hand that feeds them. These are dumb maladroit moves that cost GGG millions. Loeffler understands this. So either he convinces GGG to accept the offer like yesterday or GGG has to fight his mandatories. As to my personal opinion, i hope that Canelo does not give Golovkin and his band of miscreants another payday.

This is not a charity lol they running a business like you said canelo is the bigger ppv attraction so he is paid more accordingly nothing else matters. And GGG is not Cotto. Cotto had a decade worth of large ppv numbers without canelo. GGG has 2 ppv flops without canelo he doesn't have the same leverage cotto did. And canelo years ago pre cotto win is not the same draw he is today. He just sold 1m ppv buys last year without a floyd, cotto, GGG opponent. Sold more against chavez then he did with cotto. Nobody is dumb enough to think thats because chavez is a bigger draw then cotto yet idiots now think this means GGG is a bigger draw then cotto? LMAO

This is like someone saying to floyd well I know how much you made against gatti and I want the same money gatti got because I sold more the floyd/gatti. LMAO Floyd became a star after gatti and nobody got even 50% to fight floyd from then on with the lone exception being Oscar and that's because Oscar was at the time a bigger draw with bigger ppv numbers. Everyone else not named oscar had to give floyd the lion share he demanded if they wanted the fight. Canelo is now at a level where nobody is getting 50% unless you bring bigger ppv numbers then him to the table. GGG has no numbers he can point to that are on canelo's level. Canelo is by far the biggest draw in boxing unless floyd comes out of retirement. He is ducking and pricing himself out and nobody hands out 50% just because you need to prove you bringing in 50% of the revenue and clearly GGG isn't couldn't even sell out stubhub his last fight and his fight before canelo with Jacobs only sold 150K canelo last fight before GGG sold 1M ppv buys.

If anything 50/50 is generous to Alvarez. The arrogance of thinking you’re still the a side with the disgrace of a drugs ban hanging over you is unbelievable. A fight with Golovkin at this point is a chance for Alvarez to redeem himself, anything else he’s getting aside from that is like charity.

This right here, Canelo is the one who ruined the rematch, yet they have the audacity to claim to be the A side still? If anything your whole career is suspect now.

50/50 is a fair split if Canelo doesn't agree then screw him and move on.
