I wasn’t impressed with Wilder or Joshua’s last fights.
Old man Ortiz was humiliating Wilder and Joshua looked less than generic on his last fight. Lucky for BOTH of them there’s no young Tyson’s, Lewis’s or Ali’s out there waiting for them.

Wilder did the only thing he could ....wait and be patient bc he was never going to out point Ortiz ,NOT including corrupt scorecards . lol

Its the frustrating thing with Wilder ,but you are not going to land the big punch forever . Sooner or later it wont happen .

It will come to a halt against a too good a boxer at 6'6 , Joshua .

Boxing based fans are azz backwards , they reward the guy with not such good performance against the dominating one as evidence that they use to show overcoming adversity to then favor him ......

This is almost always the case .

Wilder doesnt fight to impress , he fights to assume he will catch his opponents at some point .

This tactic wont be there one day ,those who REALLY understand boxing know this .

Why do people think Ortiz outboxed Wilder? Laughable. Take some numbers: https://www.boxingscene.com/deontay-...-stats--125891
Wilder won more rounds, landed more punches and outjabbed Ortiz by far. His footwork didn't let Ortiz get in comfortable position, his jab always there didn't let Ortiz lock on target and the feints were keeping Ortiz concious of his right hand, making Ortiz less agressive. Not only that but he adjusted on the go, with time Ortiz landed less and less punches. The right hook that caused the damage in round 7 only landed again in the end of the round 9 in that exchange. In all other moments it was blocked or dodged. Even better, the three jabs than left cross pattern, Ortiz did one time before, I think in round 3, than when he tried it again in round 10 he got countered and badly hurt. If it was anyone else, people would be saying that he outboxed Ortiz

Ahhh the classic Floyd approach. Say a man Is afraid of "so and so" . Say a man is ducking "so and so" . Fight "so and so". Say that the man is going to be beat by "so and so". Beat the crap out of "so and so". Then don't give credit for the victory anyway. YOU. ARE. PATHETIC.

Wilder indeed wasn't impressive... But when he went full windmill that was it... Very weird and ugly, but efficient... Ortiz had one opportunity to end it and when he failed the outcome was inevitable...

he doesn't have great skills but excellent reactions at key moments, he pulls the trigger quicker than Eastwood, punch selection when he has someone hurt and defensive/survival instincts when caught with something big, his jab would have been better against an orthodox opponent

Wilder was less impressive with his performance against AJ. Up to the KO things were going Ortiz's way, but Wilder showed heart and mental toughness.

I always said that AJ's skills will win him a match against Wilder so I don't know what is the hold up with this fight.

Wilder can't lose a decision in his hometown anyway, judges in his pocket.
