I can kind of understand where he's coming from right or wrong.
He calls it a slave deal because he's legally bound to do what Hearn wants for at least a year.
At present, he can just talk smack and get himself a million or so fighting when he wants on his terms with no legal issues.

He flakes out, gets arrested, doesn't want to fight, whatever, Hearn has got him in court.


I don't think he thinks a year down the road. It's more like I am ok now I will worry about it when I am not ok. Until I am broke, I will be the boss.

After checking with some friends in the Industry who have worked with the PERFORM GROUP, I GUARANTEE you that this ONE BILLION DAZN deal isn't Close to that.

Hearn is just a SMOKE AND MIRRORS Con man but he does understand that saying "ONE BILLION" sounds sexy and makes for a good sound byte for the media.

In reality though, this deal is worth more like $600 Million for 8 Years that has a Contingency plan for the PERFORM GROUP to bail after two years if they don't hit their projections which they won't!

I hope a Journalist like Thomas Hauser will expose this deal for the sham it is. All they would need to do is ask for a copy of the contract!

The Truth is, most of the TOP AMERICAN BOXERS can make equal or more money on Showtime/HBO then Hearn will be offering.
