Hearn's got a lot of nerve if he's still pretending that he gets to have the say in the venue when the other side is stumping up all the money.

Does this mean we won't have to hear from the Johnson nuthuggers anymore?

Lol, the only reason they have $50 mill to offer is because of Joshua. We all know Wilder isn't a draw and couldn't generate a 10th of that 50 mill without Joshua's name. While Joshua himself generates over 1 mill PPV buys every time he fights, add the live gate and that's about $40 mill every time Joshua fights if not more.

Money clearly now isn't the sticking point. Neither side wants to give up hometown advantage and I can't blame either side for doing so. Wilder's team doesn't want to lose from a early British stoppage like we saw vs Takam and Joshua doesn't want a US ref giving Wilder time to recover like we saw vs Ortiz or risk the dodgy scoring we saw in that fight too.

If neither side is willing to travel then I can't see this fight happening anytime soon.

He bites the tape, then starts pulling it off, while the ref holds parker back to prevent a fight breaking out. AJ then tells the ref he's ready for his break.

Why else would br pull the tape off and cause a break?

AJs tape mysteriously comes off on almost every fight.

AJ has earned that right, no doubt. But the highest bid should be the determining factor on the flip side

If he's bothered about legacy and not money then he should fight the most dangerous out there, for all the belts ...Wilder and get paid his biggest purse ever ....where ever!
Hearn is just a business man .....and as his dad says 'when the fans start picking the fights the fighter ends up skint'......HARDLY HEARNS!

                Now its all about "location?!?!"......

I really wanna hear Team Hearns response when RANDOM STRINGENT blood testing is brought up and INSISTED upon for his bulky robot.....his response will probably go something like this,"Bloody unheard of! Joshuas clean, how dare you insinuate.....the fight is OFF - dammit.....AJ wouldve fought for free!"
                Lol. Well said.

His first sticking point was indeed the money. He wanted to offer Wilder something small, and challenged Wilder's team to offer 50 mil and he would take the fight.

Wilder's team then offered the 50 mil, and now he speaks of fight location. What difference does it make how many fans are in attendance if you are not the one putting up the money? If Wilder's team wants to pay 50 mil and put the fight on in front of his immediate family and stream it on PPV so be it! If you wanted to determine the location, then be lead promoter and put up the guarantee.

Wilder's team is supposed to take ALL the financial risks for the fight, AND fight Joshua in his backyard? Quite honestly, if Haymon, Finkel, or anyone else involved in Wilder's career goes for this BS they are absolute idiots, and Eddie is the best promoter/ manager in boxing for getting his fighter the sweetest deal of all time. Hopefully PBC stands firm, and isnt that damn thirsty for this fight because if they go forward on those terms they are fools.
                  "slow clap"

                  Indeed. What he said.

I do feel it will end up in England. But I could careess so long as it gets done. I am pleased how far they have come, so I am cautious but encouraged. But if Joshua's team starts asking for pie, cake, ice cream and danishes while pushing Wilder to.get only kale and black licorice, Wilder's team better not be too desperate.

Fact is the winner establishes new lineage, that in itself should be the chief motivator for either one of them to pluck up the strength to cross the Atlantic.

I don’t see how this fight does more money in Vegas than the U.K. though, am I overlooking something ?

Not accepting a 12.5million flat fee in the biggest fight in boxing when you know you can do more and actually work in making more isn't.
"Oh b-b-b-but it's a number times his highest payday." Stop working with percentuals and go to the actual numbers. 30million is way more than 11million period.
Joshua asked for 50million, he knew his side wouldn't lead the promotion. If they want to go back in their word, fine. Send a reasonable offer for a fight this size and make it happen
There is no twisting , you imbecile .

One guy makes 1.5 Million avg . fights . How is someone making closer to ONE Million over riding someone making closer to 20 Million remotely an advantage point for Wilder to bicker over 12.5 Million ? You idiot . lol

Joshua makes 15 / 20 Million generated cap and against Povetkin expected to make 25 .

How does Wilder make more then 13 Million anyway if Joshua gets 50 ?

Stop doing math , learn to read first .......then you will know what your talking about . lol
