    That should count for something.
They were not in the same weight class, nor did they look anywhere near the same size. It counts for a lot, because he destroyed a very good fighter, but it didn't count for a P4P in the same weight class.

But that was the craziest part. Loma did not destroy Rigo in the physical sense. He made him quit because Rigo sensed that the skill level was in another class. Rigo quit of embarassement, and not due to a bloody or even bruised face.

not sure how you could "hype" what might be one of the GOATS, as every sensible unbiased fan knows is a fact
How many ATGs has Lomafako beaten?

Hell, how many HOF worthy fighters has Lomafako beaten?

Lom's last two fights are perfect examples of where size didnt count. Easy scenario to prove this. If Lom was a 122 pounder, not only would Rigo have missed even more punches due to Lom's increased speed and reflexes, Lom would have been faster with his punches and hit Rigo even more than he did. Rigo is lucky Lom was not smaller and faster and more accurate. It would have ended sooner if he had been. Then Lom fights a bigger guy and proves that it is the science, not the size. Lom never used power against Rigo, just science and the same thing happened with Linares, it was science that won him both fights.

I think that the size difference (and age difference) with Rigo does diminish the value of the win. Loma was very forthright about saying the same thing.

I would add, though, that I don't think the way Loma beat Rigo had much to do with size. It was mostly a display of superior skill against a guy who boxing experts thought was one of the most skillful fighters on the planet.

On the other hand, I think that part of the struggle Loma had with Linares was size related. Only part of the struggle though - the other part was Linare's skill and speed.

Armstrong as well boxing has came leaps and bounds since his time, floyds easy top 3, with SRR(one of the few boxers who really stands the test of time from 50/60 years ago) and Sweet pea, but That’s not what this thread is about so I’m going to leave it at that
but how is a guy the best ever in a division that he didn't even have 10 fights at? Did he even have 5 fights there? I have to look it up. He did a pit stop to 135 and moved on. Is Andre Ward an all time better fighter than Virgil Hill? Well yeah. If he a better all time light heavyweight with 5 fights total in the division?

I think maybe you're confusing the issue between H2H comparisons 'who would beat who'(which are legitimate if pointless and utterly speculative) and 'who achieved more' in which a relative newbie like Lomachenko - despite having made an exceptional start to his career - has a massive amount of catching up to do given his relatively late start, lack of available, big names, and relatively short remaining number of fights (perhaps 15 or 20 more at the current rate).

crawford fought in a crappy division. Lol 140 was garbage ricky burns held a title there during crawfords run at 140 that should tell you how bad the division was.
