He has not accomplished enough as a pro to convince me that he'll be an atg, and I am a fan of his. He's clearly very talented but he's been hyped up to this GOD like status.

Doesn't shock me when you're making guys quit.
I agree it's early but it's just how things roll.

I always say you can't judge a fighter properly until they have been retired for a few years. It puts a lot of things into context and into perspective.

What we have seen of Loma so far is brilliant, and exciting as hell. That's why people question how he would go against past greats.
What we haven't seen of Loma yet is what stops those questions from becoming statements.

Crawfords resume is poor. Doesnt matter that he unified. Broner won belts in 4 divisions. The problem is against who. Loma has beat better fighters than Crawford and Broner have faced. Thats the difference.

Lomachenko is having an awesome, unique career and it's always fun to watch something new in any sport. Lomachenko is something new and he's obviously exciting to watch and it's exciting to see how far he takes it.

It would be fun to watch Mikey vs Lomachenko.

He’s a p4p fighter so the hype is warranted.

Yes, it is, but hype always goes too far.
Despite the Salido loss, this guy has otherwise looked really impressive and is willing to take chances so he might just turn out to be something really great. I'd rather give him the benefit of the doubt than be that guy tried to shyt on him when he was shining.
Same goes for not being the kind of goof that claims a guy is going to be a legend when he hasn't another p4p fighter in his weight class yet. It's all about moderation, something forum cats are terrible at.

Rigo was on all p4p lists until Loma. Sure Loma was a bit taller and a few pounds heavier, but Rigo had longer reach and this quasi mythical status. And Loma didn’t even beat him up or use his size to hurt him. He just sort of danced around him, made him miss, toyed with him until Rigo felt embarassed. Rigo barely ate any huge shots, if any. He simply realised he would not be able to touch, let alone hurt Loma, and just gave up, lost all motivation.

                      That should count for something.
