Just no real way to prove it either way. Lomachenko has done well, and he will continue to learn and grow. Very excited to see how his career pans out.
One of the things that bothered me with floyd is the way he put so much stock into the undefeated ****. Fighters nowadays are so panicked to take a loss, the fans try to treat them like they were exposed or bums. Believe me when I say this, everyone is beatable, even floyd. That dude started going for high reward low risk fights post dela Hoya.
Lomachenko seems to push pass the "loss" for what it definitely was.. A learning experience in only his second pro fight, and look at him now.
The loss means only what lomachenko feels it means to him. And he took the loss well.Comment

Floyd would of spanked salido at any age, he was longer, stronger, faster & smarter. All the people that still bring up Lomachenko's loss to Salido thinking it validates some argument of him not being that good are ****ing idiots. With that being said, of course that version of Salido would beat Mayweather in his 2nd pro fight. The situation's are not comparable, Mayweather didn't have 400 amateur fights or whatever it was that Loma had, this scenario is completely unfair to Mayweather here. People just need to stop with all the comparison BS, it gets ****ing tiringComment

Don't be mad cuz Floyd could beat salido at any age.Look i am not discrediting Floyd, i just find it crazy how some posters think Floyd would beat Salido in his 2nd pro fight... by KO never the less.
a 19 year old Loma would lose even worse to Salido but no different than a 19 year old Floyd.
A 26 year old Loma who would have started his pro career after his 1st gold and had 20+ pro fights would also destroy Salido just like Floyd would at 26 at 20+ fights.Comment

Floyd circles, counters, then drops salido like a cigarette in his 2nd pro fight. It's just fanboys voting for the guys they like. There is no way the Floyd Mayweather from 1996 would beat the Salido that beat Loma. And that is not some criticism as Mayweather, there's probably no fighter in the history of the 126 lb division that would beat that Salido in their 2nd fight. Lomachenko only came close because he is probably the greatest amateur fighter of all time.Comment

I think you are missing the point. ESPN and other mainstream sports en****** value an undefeated record because they can explain and market it easier to casual fans that make up their audience and is who the marketing dollars are trying to attract.Just no real way to prove it either way. Lomachenko has done well, and he will continue to learn and grow. Very excited to see how his career pans out.

I think the top draws in every era have the people behind them that have been keen on what those spending their money want to see and capitalized on it.Comment

Oh so he was 19 years old? WOW thats a HUGE differenceMayweather was not 18 for his second pro fight. He was a few months away from 20 years old. Saying usa over and over like a moronic cheer leader doesn't make the USA the best. We have our fair share of great boxers and so do other counties. It's a world wide sport now and good boxers might come from anywhere in the world.
Lmfao floyd would never lose to salido if he was the same age as loma when he lost to salido
Stop being a self hating American
USA is the best
