Let's be very clear here. No more gray areas.

To the OP: instead of saying why Loma isn't in your p4p list, tell us exaaactly why Mikey is your p4p AND exaaactly what fight it was that catapulted him into your p4p spot.

And please, SAVE the excuses. The LOSS was legit...
Loma's p4p #1 to a lot of people, because his level of competition, at 12 fights, is better than the resumes of most fighters with twice that amount or more. He just made history, 2 days ago, by becoming the fastest boxer to earn world titles in 3 different weight divisions. His first title bout was his 2nd pro match, while Crawford's and Garcia's were on their 23rd and 31st bouts, respectively. Don't get me wrong, they're great fighters, but I can see why Loma is widely considered p4p #1.

Also, what's with you and Loma? Ever since Loma beat Linares, you've been going out of your way to downplay the victory. Can you calm down? I get that you don't like Loma, but it's really not that serious.

Lomachenko is definitely above this boxers in P4P list. Why?
Because P4P LIST IN NOT HALL OF FAME LIST. PERIOD.
Loma after his loss to overweighted cheater managed to get 3 titles in 3 different divisions afterwards. That means he overgrown himself fighting Salido 3 times already.

According to Dumb***s Mayweather is P4P king if he arrives back and starts demolishing boxing bums alike of MMA fighters with 0 record.
He hasn't lost doe.
Look at his record doe.

Your rules would suggest GGG, Wilder, Joshua are all FAR better than those guys.
And if GGG retires now he will be the greatest MW champion in boxing history!

Linares must be the second best then because loma is barely “better” than him.

Loma lost to Salido, got put on his ass this past weekend, and guess what he is still the clear #1 p4p. If you watch Loma fight and aren't seeing something special, you're only screwing yourself. Hes a joy to watch.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. Boxing is not the NBA. Because of many factors, not every possible match up gets made, especially not at the right times. Pound for Pound #1 is whoever the **** you think looks the best, for the most part. Resume and especially record should not be the main criteria because both can be manufactured or have other circumstances involved. A monster fighter that would destroy everyone in his weight division could be avoided by all the main players until he is past his prime or a fighter with the right manager/promoter can be guided masterfully to always get favorable match ups and rack up a lot of W's. Crawford could be the best. Loma could be the best. Golovkin could be the best. Mikey Garcia could be the best. maybe charlo or errol spence is the best even though they haven't yet fought anyone great. None of these are bad choices. As long as your pound for pound #1 is reasonable, it is a pretty ****** argument to have.

You know what's awesome though? If Lomachenko were to lose to Garcia, OP would say Mikey was the best ever and ALWAYS name Lomachenko as to why Mikey is so great. In OPs eyes, Lomachenko would be the best ever because of a potential win, which I don't think Mikey would get, but even so.

Fact is, Lomachenko has already made history... and if he were to quit fighting today, would still hold that place.
