Is it crazy to think Loma beats Mikey easier than Linaries?

Loma is my number one fighter.
Mikey is in my top 5.

That said, I do not think Loma can win against Mikey.
Mikey is bigger, smart and hits hard.

I think Loma will win a clear UD over Mikey. I don't think it will be easy. I don't think Linares is much faster and throws much better combinations than Mikey. Linares is faster and throws better combination than Mikey but the difference is not that much. Against Broner Mikey showed lots of hand speed and good combinations. Mikey is fast and smart and hits harder than Linares. Loma beats Mikey in my opinion but not easily. Mikey is very dangerous. Loma showed a solid chin and recovery power against Linares and that might help him beat Mikey.

Style makes fights......Jorge is just a much better athlete and much faster than mikey, he is also a much better combination puncher than mikey also.....he elite level hand speed is what got him some success against loma.....mikey is just slower all around IMO....even though he is more technically sound overall......

You might be right but you aren’t including one major thing mikey has going for him.

I wouldn't say it was crazy I get the line of thinking but I don't see it that way. Mikey has a better jab than Linares, a shorter left hook and more variety on his right hand than Linares who is rather basic he's also twice the puncher, controls range and does a better job dictating the pace.

For Loma to win for me he has to fight the perfect fight. Mikey might just need to land one shot.

Mikey may not be as fast as Linares but he processes things quicker and has elite timing. As great as Loma is his in's and exits can be a little predictable imo (He was getting caught often on his way out the pocket same vs Marriaga) Mikey is too good of a counterpuncher not to catch him often.

I think that if Loma wins, it will look like it was easier, because it means he was hit less.

That doesn't mean it was easier, or less risky, it just means he fought perfectly.
