Is it crazy to think Loma beats Mikey easier than Linaries?

No, but with mikeys timing and power he could easily catch Loma. Linares is a better athlete and is just overall more explosive but Mikey is more technical and calculated. I would put my money on Loma but wouldn't be surprised if he got caught, loma would have to be smarter and can't get complacent even for a second.

I did just rewatch it. Linares was breaking down. I could see it in his face and his body language.

Look, Loma needs more experience at the weight. He should go for Beltran and maybe Campbell at the end of the year and try for Mikey at the beginning of 2019 if the fight can be made.

I would agree that maybe partially the jump in weight had it's consequences. Therefore probably a second fight in this weight will answer more questions

You know Pita Garcia Roberts son said the same thing.

I said coming into the Linares fight it's a harder match for Loma styleistically than Garcia. I felt also Linares would be lighting Mikey up for 6-7 rounds then get Stoppard by Mikey.

Mikey doesn't have Linares' speed or footwork. Loma would be less likely to be forced into mistakes and would be able to move around Mikey a lot easier.

Wide decision. I've said for a while if Mikey fights Crawford he loses 12-0 or gets stopped whilst not winning a round and he'd win 2 or 3 rounds due to size against Loma.

There's a reason Mikey was not so willing to fight Linares. He's all about flow footed, predictable fighters moving forward with little defense.

                  And hits fuucking way harder.

Mikey would put Loma to sleep.
