McClellan was way too sloppy to keep from getting countered to death. Also his stamina, if the fight went that long, would have been a problem I think. McClellan was only 27 so maybe he would have improved but the best McClellan we ever saw just didn't have the skills to defeat the best version of Golovkin, imo.

Lets not pretend for a damn second that Jacobs or Canelo are half the fighter Benn was that fight wasn't even at MW anyway.

GGG doesn't have a better jab, power, defense, handspeed, counterpunching ability or anything. Stamina? Again I'm not so sure now McClellan didn't appear to have a great tank but we've seen GGG go late three times he took his foot off the gas vs Murray, he lost arguably the last 5 rounds vs Jacobs and 3 vs Canelo and they certainly aren't the bodypuncher the G man was.

McClellan knocks him out inside 5 being kind. Its a baaad style match up for GGG.

GGG would win IMO, he is just better at everything with the same type of power.

McClellan wears a diaper now and is fed with a tube, which is karma for his dogfighting sins.
        Agree completely...
**** McClellan, he’s an evil scumbag who deserved all he got.

Whats all the scumbag talk about McClellan? What did he do to warrant this kind of talk?

in fairness, Gmac had Benn that time too. The bastiche Brit ref should have been thrown out for favouring Benn, not taking anything away from Benn though, he was on fire that night.
How did the ref favour Benn?

You take nothing away from him but you claim McClellan had Benn and that he needed a corrupt ref to win?

People are getting worse on this site.

You think McClellan was a Lemieux level fighter?

So you think Jacobs and Canelo are better than him as well considering Golovkin wasn't able to pick them apart. Far from it, they were close fights.

For the record, G man would violently dispatch of both Canelo and Jacobs in short time.

G is too slow for someone like McClellan so I see a clear points win or a late KO for the G man.

Yeah, because losing to Nigel Benn meant you were ****.

McClellan was an all round better boxer than Gennady is. If Canelo and Jacobs could make it real close, McClellan would go to town.

GGG by brutal life changing KO
G couldn't even KO a chinny nobody in Jacobs, but you think he dishes out a life changing KO to McClellan? Yeah, you're detached from reality here.
