Tito was the WBA middleweight champ going into the Hopkins fight in 2001. He KO'd a true MW in Joppy prior and the last time he was 147 was two years prior vs DLH.

So no Tito was not coming up from anywhere. He was already a middleweight with a belt.

Yes, and the reason Lara never fought GGG, is because Lara wanted that sweet cash. GGG also never fought Liam Smith.

Good job ****ting on Hopkins resume. “Title defenses mean nothing when you fight Allen and Echols 5 times”
Young Bernard okay. Older Bernard. His fights were kind of annoying.

he hasnt really fought any great MWs. The big names are not on his CV, though they are on the CV of people he has fought.

His one big name is a light middle, result was a draw.

After that its good contender Danny Jacobs and transient titlist Lemieux - both good wins mind you, just not "great"

I think you are trying to claim too much with the word "great"... even some of the greats and HoFers sometimes just face one or two greats in their time. No shame in GGG not having one MW great.

              Lil’G: “154/168 ez fomi.”

ESNeWs: “would you like to fight the winner of Floyd vs Pac?”

              Lil’g: “absolutely!”

Alvarez went after the 154 WBO. It’s not the first time a boxer pulls down his trunks! Smith was a Champion like Munguia and Vanes!

              It gets even better!

Abel: “Canelo hasn’t made 155 in years, but for Floyd (move down), most definitely.”

Then Canelo makes 154 for Smith... lol.

That padded record is nothing to writehome about if all of your current viable opponents can easily achieve and dispose of the lacklustre competition you have had. I am not dis*****g his power and his toughness because damn that head can absorb punishment but if you were a true fan of his you would want him to prove that he is the best and solidify himself beyond reasonable doubt. Not mutter he is old he can fight who he wants
After the fight vs. Vanes Golovkin said. "I want everyone. I have lots of belts. I challenge anyone to come and take my belts. I don't care who it is. Let's clean the division out." Any questions?

Didnt even read the article, the title was enough trash for me. To answer the question.. how about we ask ourselves... “what has ggg proven with a 1-0-1, 0 KO record, with a controversial win?” Thats the real question

GGG has nothing to prove due to the fact he got robbed in his last fight anyways. FACT
