The BIG difference between LeBron and GGG on Saturday, LeBron beat the #1 Seed in the Eastern Conference, the Toronto Raptors, which were also the #2 Offense in the NBA in the 2017-2018 season! GGG beat Vanes Martirosyan, a Jr. Middleweight (not a champion) fighter, who had not fought in 2 years!

GGG already past his prime and still beats Jacobs and Canelo. Leave the man alone he is the best now and has nothing to prove anymore lolComment

Beating Hopkin's record for starters.By Corey Erdman - There was a distinct similarity between Gennady Golovkin and Lebron James' performances on Saturday night. After the plucky Toronto Raptors evened the game with James' Cleveland Cavaliers with eight seconds left in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semi-finals...

Simplifying things to even out the Hagler Hopkins Golovkin comparison doesn't work. You seem to want to dismiss the fact that those were all-time greats that were moving up.And those three were former welters. One was a BANTAMWEIGHT in his pro debut.
And Hags did not answer the call of Spinks.
Hags also fought and lost to a retired welter.
GGG is just as great as Hop as a middleweight.
And no matter how you cut it, any middleweight defending the title over 17 times will get to the hall of fame .
GGG already past Monzon's greatness imo.
The hate for GGG needs to stop.
You are either a boxing fan or just a nuthugger for someone else .
Take away the WBA regular Champion defenses. What are we left with? A signature win over Jacobs whose story is yet to be told. If Jacobs gets knocked out in his next fight what does that say about Golovkin's legacy.Comment

Regardless, GGG is super bad-a$$. He would fight a juice head and not give a care. Damn so this beef is getting real? Will be interesting to see how Canelo is received next time he fights. Granted the crowd at the Golovkin fight would have been pretty biased, but in the post-fight interview, even indirect references to Canelo (like the question about what's it like getting a knock-out again after the last two fights - with reference to 'the last two fights' setting off a chorus of boos) set the boo-boys off.
Might be a pretty loud reaction next time he goes in the ring - interesting to see who is the loudest, the anti or pro crowd.Comment

Ward would gladly go to 160 for Mayweather. Do you acknowledge this?Lil’G: “154/168 ez fomi.”
ESNeWs: “would you like to fight the winner of Floyd vs Pac?”
Lil’g: “absolutely!”
Alvarez went after the 154 WBO. It’s not the first time a boxer pulls down his trunks! Smith was a Champion like Munguia and Vanes!
It gets even better!
Abel: “Canelo hasn’t made 155 in years, but for Floyd (move down), most definitely.”
Then Canelo makes 154 for Smith... lol.

We all know there is a huge amount of haters and biased trolls that call themselves boxing fans. I genuinely trust one of the best fighters in current boxing on his ranking. GGG #1.Simplifying things to even out the Hagler Hopkins Golovkin comparison doesn't work. You seem to want to dismiss the fact that those were all-time greats that were moving up.
