Yea, I just don't get how beating Jacobs and drawing with Canelo leads to a "what more" argument.
Another way to look at it is this,; if he suffered a loss right now, would he still look great? The answer is no. He'd be largely dismissed because he hasn't built a strong resume. When your legacy is hinging on one loss, you haven't built a strong legacy yet.

Simplifying things to even out the Hagler Hopkins Golovkin comparison doesn't work. You seem to want to dismiss the fact that those were all-time greats that were moving up.

Take away the WBA regular Champion defenses. What are we left with? A signature win over Jacobs whose story is yet to be told. If Jacobs gets knocked out in his next fight what does that say about Golovkin's legacy.

GGG has had a whole career of unanswered questions. His best win is Danny Jacobs lol and a lot of people had that fight a draw or a win for Danny (I didn't).

Jacobs has never been champion. And has a resume full of low level guys just like Golovkin. (Not even going to mention Pirog.)

GGG did beat Canelo. I cant blame Canelo if he did purposely used CLEN, everybody needs as much help as they can get against Golovkin. Man is a machine and the best MW ever. Nothing to prove.

naaa he didnt, but you have a right to an opinion on the draw. they both doled successful boxing equally when i watched it, canelo was the first man to successfully stand up to GGG as an equal as a boxer.

GGG won that fight fair and square. The Mexican cheater ate every single jab from GGG. Canelo was running most of the middle rounds. It was close but not a draw 7-5 Golovkin. GGG got royally screwed here, GGG won. Period.
