Idk if Thurman or Crawford is the bigger fight yet. But yea I don't disagree either of those fights would be huge IF he can get them so if they have a good chance of happening I'm definitely of the opinion he should stay at 147. Thing is I have serious doubts he'll get Thurman anytime soon & I got serious doubts he can get Bud at all. But we shall see.

At what point does he quit hoping for a big fight at 147 vs go to 154 for a big fight??? Thats really the question here. I for one think another 12 months at 147 is a fair minimum of extra time as the landscape looks currently. But if things look close to happening in May 2019 then another 6-12mos might be worthwhile idk. Then again things could look bleak in 6mos if the wrong guys win & the right guys lose & maybe its not worth sticking around then who knows.

      Why not?????

If I was making a top ten list of guys at 147 who'd fight anyone I think I'd have to have Khan in my top 3 easy. Maybe number 1 idk. But I definitely don't think Khan would avoid Spence.

And he BARELY got by Lara. If he's barely getting by Lara I don't see how he gets by Spence.

I think Spence f#cks up Lara's sh^t worse than anyone if they fought next. Probably stops him or comes close to it. Definitely a wider decision if it does go 12 than Canelo or Hurd.

I like Hurd, but he's not a super skilled cat. He's big. And yea he's athletic. Spence is a talented f#cking athletic boxer doe. I'll take the talented f#cking boxer over the big athletic guy who's probably 3 fights or less from losing his belts on the scales every day of the week.

Hurd ain't gonna Deontay Wilder the 154 division. You can get away with that sorta primitive sh^t at HW, but in the smaller, more fundamental skills needed to win divisions it ain't gonna work vs tip top non-old guys.
I used to bash Hurd hard. I made threads about his best win being JoJo Dan or Titsworth. He proved me way wrong. He's no genius in the ring but he definitely has something going on for him.

He should stay where he is and get another title. Porter and/or Garcia would sell. If he's comfortable making weight stay there untill these get done.

I agree. You don't beat Lara, close fight or not, if you don't got something. I just don't think he gots THAT much going on specifically vs a talented cat like Errol.

If he isn't getting fights with the guys that share promoter with him at 147 why we should expect that the guys at 154 (who are also with the same promoter) will fight him?.

I lean toward Charlo, brother. But I need to see him against Trout first.

I just dont see Hearn giving him this fight especially not before the Brook fight.
I do think it would be a good fight tho.
