GGG was too chicken to fight Ward.

And this weight cutting stuff is likely to be having an impact on Hurd's performances sooner or later. We all know how this goes. These big mfers cutting too much weight are ruining their bodies slowly but surely. I won't be surprised when Hurd loses his belts on the scale.
Hurd just beat Trout and Lara far more convincingly than Canelo.

        He's too big, too athletic.

He has time before he has to resort to moving up. Plus Crawford will fight him with no doubt

Who fights elites after elites? He can take 18 easy and fight thurman or Garcia 2019 or even both plus there is a superfight with Crawford in the waits what’s the rush?

Both guys a few years older & a lil bit slower though lets not ignore that angle.

And he BARELY got by Lara. If he's barely getting by Lara I don't see how he gets by Spence.

I think Spence f#cks up Lara's sh^t worse than anyone if they fought next. Probably stops him or comes close to it. Definitely a wider decision if it does go 12 than Canelo or Hurd.

I like Hurd, but he's not a super skilled cat. He's big. And yea he's athletic. Spence is a talented f#cking athletic boxer doe. I'll take the talented f#cking boxer over the big athletic guy who's probably 3 fights or less from losing his belts on the scales every day of the week.

Hurd ain't gonna Deontay Wilder the 154 division. You can get away with that sorta primitive sh^t at HW, but in the smaller, more fundamental skills needed to win divisions it ain't gonna work vs tip top non-old guys.

Making money. Getting out of the sport younger. The sooner Spence gots some name guys on his resume his money goes up. When his money goes up that means he'll be able to fight less &/or need less fights to get secure money-wise post-boxing & can quit taking shots to the head.

I'd love to see Spence become one of the top draws in the sport after a Thurman W in 2019 & get outta the sport in another 3-5 years at 31, 32, 33 making nice paydays 2M+ paydays for those last 4-5yrs & ideally getting a $5M+, $10M+ purse or two in there as well.

There is no bigger fight than Crawford for Spence and that one will take a couple more years to build. It would be a mistake leaving 147 so early.

He should wait to see if the Porter/Garcia winner will step up and fight him.
He needs to call out the winner to get it happening.
Maybe even a Khan fight but i cant see that happening from Khans end.
