Then he should leave Haymon because all the top 147 are under him. In the end it’s up to Haymon to make the fight happen.

He needs to at least try to get fights with Porter, Khan or Garcia. A fight with Thurman or Crawford isn’t happening anytime soon.

Agree. Thurman might as well be as good as done anyway with how he's trending, but I think the Porter vs Garcia winner & Khan are on the table still & enhance Spence's 147 legacy at least a lil bit. Brook might end up being his best W at 147, but I believe he needs to try to get someone else notable at 147. If nothing else it'll be a nice seasoning experience to head up to 154 with.

Dude is still only 28 with just coming up on a year as a title holder. I don't think sticking around another year is a bad move. If those guys figure things out at 154 that could mean in a year he could potentially move up to face a unified or 2 or 3 title holding guy in his 154 debut to who's made a bit more of a name for himself to which wouldn't be a bad thing to wait a lil bit longer to see if it transpired while Thurman tried not to hurt himself for more than 3 months in a row.

He can just do what GGG did/does and start calling out junior welterweights.

With the way things are going Thurman will have to vacate and 2 belts will be around to be taken. No need to move up now

Would hate to see him go to a non-ideal weight class too soon. You can't really come back down once you acclimate.
So far, it's only been not quite a year since his last, great fight. No need to rush just yet.

He's big, but idk if he's THAT good doe. If Spence makes it a boxing match he wipes the floor with Hurd I feel like. The more in trenches it is the more it moves to Hurd's type of fight.

And this weight cutting stuff is likely to be having an impact on Hurd's performances sooner or later. We all know how this goes. These big mfers cutting too much weight are ruining their bodies slowly but surely. I won't be surprised when Hurd loses his belts on the scale.

It hasn’t been a year since he won a world title.
