fighters typically don't go to ppv and then back down. this is a calculated process that's literally hashed out by accountants in addition to matchmakers, promoters, and managers.

Its an unknown risk if its a bigger upside in vegas...as things stand its a bigger fight in the uk because wilder has never sold a ppv and is generally unknown in his own country...,,,yiu know that saying a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush......in real terms in means the fight is guaranteed to sell 1.8 million here and its also guaranteed to sell 90k capacity at wembley stadium.
This fight would have to sell 1.5 million ppv in america to even break even and no way on earth does this fight do that in america....$50 million is a huge guarantee to layout to joshua with such a unknown ppv outcome.
Its a bigger fight all round in the uk because the market place is a sure thing

The email was sent one day with a deadline of the end of the next day. Same thing Eddie wrote to Finkel. It's all gamesmanship. There are all sorts of games played like this in a negotiation. Both sides know these deadlines are bull****. It's just foreplay.

Eddie is twisting that he was asked to agree to anything other than acknowledging that 50 million would be sufficient if all other deal points ended up being satisfactory.

I can have 100k in escrow within 48 hours no problem. If you want to bet more than that, I would need a little time.

How are you ever supposed to get a deal done if you don't agree in principle to different deal points until eventually all deal points have been agreed to?
