I agree AJ & Hearn not on the same side of discussions looks off, but idk that its making AJ look bad. I moreso think it makes Hearn look bad cuz more people tend to think the promoter controls whats happening & not happening. Thats clearly not the case here cuz Joshua has so much power & is only beginning to wield it with Hearn.

Actually, it’s Joshua’s framework.Comment

Well it has to be verified it's a real offer and the money is guaranteed.
It could be $50m from a mystery source who'll pay us two or three weeks before the fight and the rest is based on PPV.Comment

I think you are 10 years old. When you start having board room meetings, then you can come back here to discuss.
You agree to a deal first before a contract is written up. You negotiate deals not contracts, deals are where the whole negotiation takes place. Once the major things are out of the way, a binding contract is then sent. You don't sign deals, you sign contracts which contains the deals that were discussed.
Hope you learnt something today.Comment

Getting interesting bet you some casinos in Vegas are putting up the money to get this thing in Las VegasComment

No point discussing this anymore to be honest. Seems it was a PR stunt that we all fell for. We got so excited yesterday and thought Team Wilder genuinely had an offer, but that doesn’t seems to be the case now. We can all move on now.Comment

Not until contracts are signed it isn't. And what Shirley is saying is that Hearn and AJ can't even see the contract until AJ says he's going to accept it!
That isn't how 2 companies come to a legally binding agreement. What that is, is bullshit.Comment

Well yea when you offer a guy the biggest guaranteed purse in a HW title fight yea its a bit of a publicity stunt. But that doesn't mean its not real.
If anything I suspect Hearn wants to know who's brokering this deal thats making $50M/Gtd make sense cuz thats more than he's paying Joshua & if he can get linked up with that guy thats good business for Hearn. But if there is a middleman who's willing to GTD that much then why would Haymon share that info if Hearn would only use it to perhaps create his own deal that he's unable to create now on his own?
Regardless of that. Joshua asked for 50 & he got offered 50. Joshua will be the one in there fighting while Hearn is texting his daddy & side ***** during the fight. F#ck Hearn, Joshua decides this.Comment

It's really that simple. Agree to the major points in the offer, then sit down to talk details. The problem is that you've clearly never been involved in a major negotiation. Things can't proceed if AJ isn't willing to accept $50 million even if the other deal points are satisfactory.
If AJ says, "yes, I will accept $50 million if the funds are secure and other details are negotiated to my satisfaction," then Wilder's side can say, "okay, we've agreed on money if other conditions are met, so let's sit down and meet those other conditions."
But if the money isn't enough, even if the other conditions are met, what's the point of sitting down to hammer out the other details when the money hasn't been agreed to?Comment
