Well I think you can accept the offer in lieu of the details checking out.
But idk why Hearn would think a Haymon deal wouldn't work out. Haymon's done crazier sh^t already then $50M.Comment

Well they are definitely doing the fucking around here lol.
I don’t think anyone is doubting Haymon but now am definitely doubting that offer, why? Because they cancel the meeting for Thursday, alarm bells... then they ask to meet on Friday, then they came out with the offer on social media, now Friday meeting is cancelled?
If that isn’t a PR stunt then I don’t know what it is. 50m? And you want email conversations? When you could speak to the guy face to face lol... Gosh thank God we are not all dumb!Comment

Yeah, just a stunt to get all the folks who get into the ducking/avoiding/scared talk to foam at the mouth and spaz out and then justifies their stance on taking the easier fight i.e Brezeale "Well, we tried to make the fight. We offered $50m they are scared".
If they don't show for the meeting it's clear which is the side that's holding this thing up for now.
It's not a good look when homeboy is coming from England for the meeting and then they just call it off. Not a good look at all.Comment

1. Not sure why Hearn couldn't just reply with "we agree, pending verification of the guaranteed funds".
2. Instead we got, what if we don't like the location. What if we don't like the date.
3. Let us note that the MayPac deal was agreed to at a Miami Heat game BEFORE contracts were drawn up and signed.Comment

For those of you AJ fans, deals are first made before contracts are sent in most reasonable businesses worldwide. They are not going to shake hands and get in the ring, they are going to have to sign a piece of paper first.
The idea of Finkel showing where the money came from just shows where Hearn and AJ stands in all this. Why not just say "sure I will accept if you show me where the money came from right after". Why do they even need to know where the money came from? Wondering if it's drug money or what? Anyone asked where the $12.5 million was coming from? Hearn and AJ don't want this fight else they would have jumped at this or atleast call Wilder's bluff. It's just a deal not a contract. Accept it cuz thatz what you asked for?
Then Hearn said something like " tell us where the money came from and we will think about it" WTH? That sentence says everything. They want out. What you are saying here is correct. And what Hearn is saying is that he wants to know the details of the deal before AJ says that he is going to accept it.I think you are 10 years old. When you start having board room meetings, then you can come back here to discuss.
You agree to a deal first before a contract is written up. You negotiate deals not contracts, deals are where the whole negotiation takes place. Once the major things are out of the way, a binding contract is then sent. You don't sign deals, you sign contracts which contains the deals that were discussed.
Hope you learnt something today.
If you were any kind of business man, that is exactly the response you would give to somebody who sent you nothing but the bare bones of a deal via email.
And if you were any kind of a business man looking to do real business, you would not be asking somebody to accept the bare bones of an offer before you show them the details. You would be doing exactly what you said should happen in your comment - negotiating with the person you want to do the deal with.Comment

Not the deal, just an agreement that it was time to stop pussy footing around and start genuine negotiations to make the fight.1. Not sure why Hearn couldn't just reply with "we agree, pending verification of the guaranteed funds".
2. Instead we got, what if we don't like the location. What if we don't like the date.

What kind of laughable BS is that? Accept before we tell you what the actual offer is and where the money is from? Well, why not just pay AJ the $50 million and then he accepts? This PR stunt is going to backfire badly.
How can anyone believe that they are serious if they dont force AJ to sign before actually telling them the details? Makes no sense whatsoever.Comment
