Lucky for Whyte he can fight for the IBF position and get that mandated at the end of the year, fight in the spring against Joshua.
So now this makes more sense, calling a Wilder/Breazeale a mandatory effectively pushes back the right of the winner (Whyte-Ortiz) until whenever. Lol, no wonder they got called out.

Another su****ious thing is why call a Wilder/Breazeale fight a mandatory when Wilder just beat Stiverne in November 2017 as a mando? Shouldn’t that fight be a Voluntary?

    This all makes sense now.

I couldn’t careless what Hearn want, am for the fighters and am going with what Whyte is tweeting and complaining about. The WBC seems corrupt here but you are focusing on the promoter. I guess that suits your agenda.

Yeah it’s stated on boxrec as an “Eliminator” too, so Whyte has a right to be upset now.

Yeah looks like it mate. These organizations are known to be rubbish, but you can still understand why Whyte is pissed. Hearn is right, Whyte has right to complain.

I saw this also on the boxingscene write-up the day after Brezeale Vs Molina.

The win will elevate Breazeale in the WBC’s rankings, but WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman said the Breazeale-Molina match wasn’t a final eliminator.

            Great News!!!

This is great, ain't nobody wanted to see Wilder vs Whyte anyway. That was just another road black from Hearn trying to stall on AJ vs Wilder. If he'd been working on Whyte getting a WBC mandatory spot for the past 8 months then that just proves he never had any intentions on putting AJ in the ring with Wilder. AJ then said he'll fight Wilder for 50 Mill. Well, Haymon and Wilder just sent them exactly what he asked for, now let's see what's Eddie's and AJ's excuse now.

Underhand tactics but thats the organisations for you. Anyone supporting these corrupt organisations over boxers just showing their silly agendas. And am glad you posted those timeline of the WBC getting caught out again.

Lets just call this what it is, Wilder fights a tin can then fights the winner of a tin can faceoff which means Wilder never intended to fight AJ at all. Just goes to prove the 50 million dollar offer was fake.
You should be more mad at the WBC.

Kezzer, I missed where you followed up an provided a source to this (other than Eddie Hearn saying so in a YT interview, which of course is not credible at all). I think the thing that really intrigues me the most is the fact as contract was "signed" as you state, for a fight that is not even until July. This is incredibly unorthodox as in my experience, contracts are not signed off on usually until a few days leading to the fight (sometimes the night before). Can you please provide a source (other than Eddie Hearn who has nothing to do with this) regarding this signed contract? Thanks!

Actually no. I'm not focusing on the promoter. EVERYONE should know by now that the ABC organizations do what's best for them and not for boxing. And for what it's worth, what good is it to be signed to a promoter who doesn't let you know how the organizations work? How is it that fans understand how they work better than the boxer? No one get's any sympathy from me in this case. Whyte Ortiz is a good fight and I don't care how it gets made.

My agenda as a fan is to see and discuss the best fights in boxing. Not defend "my guy" or his promoter.
