Just because he changed his mind doesn't mean it wasn't .
If it wasn't a final eliminator then why was the commentary crew informing everyone the winner gets Wilder ?
Where did that idea come from ?
It came from Sulaman himself who said Molina is now in the FINAL eliminator fight bc he replaced Stiverne .
"even if it was upgraded to be then that should have been communicated to the guy who sat at their number 1 ranking. "
Whyte was NOT the number one guy at this time he wasnt even in the top 3 .
Both guys moved to number 1 and 2 when they updated the rankings .

Hearns can piss-off, he dropped the ball. End of story.

Something doesn't add up.
He wasn't offered $4 million. He was offered $3 million plus US TV. Which could end up being $4 million total, or, Showtime might say nobody has heard of Whyte in the US, why the **** would we want to buy that fight?
Wilder doesn't fight anyone for $1 million. You have no idea what Wilder actually gets paid because his filed purses are under reported to save on taxes and sanctioning fees. Unless you really believe Cotto was only paid $750,000 for his retirement fight?
