western knows this he is just pretending not to because he loves Manny . admitting Bob is keeping Manny from Crawford means admitting he is either scared or owes a ****load of back taxes.

These are not things Manny fans like Western will ever admit because it goes against the image of Manny his fans bought for all those years.

so how is bob protecting pac if he's gonna feed pac to loma? LOL!! wouldnt getting beat by a smaller guy is more damaging than getting beat by a naturally bigger guy? bu bu but "world tour"...

Crawford wanted Pacquaio after the Jean fight when they were working out Pacquaio's "final fight" and they chose Bradley knowing it's a sure win. Koncz and Roach have been fairly vocal that they don't like the Crawford fight especially after Crawford-Postol.

I think Pacquaio would be down but his handlers not so much. It would have been interesting what had happened if Pacquaio got the nod over Horn but the notion from these guys that it's Arum protecting Crawford or Crawford being scared is beyond ******ed.

Hindsight tells us Manny was NEVER going to beat Horn. Let's look at it:

-If Manny fights in the US they are going to take his purse because he owes a lot in tax.
-Crawford because of WBo rules was the #1 ranked contender and mando.
-The Crawford/manny fight is only good 2 places-Vegas or Nebraska.

Horn got a "Tim bradley" win on the cards and now:

-Manny is freed up for the world tour and doesn't have to make a mando defense in the US or face the embarrassment of being stripped for failure to defend against the mando.
-Crawford gets the WBO belt as he would've anyway just against Horn.
-Loma/Manny can be made for the reasons you posted.

Win win for everyone except Crawford who doesn't get the Manny push and DUnn who doesn't get to see Crawford bludgeon Manny. LOL!!

Just because he was protecting Manny from Floyd doesn't mean he is protecting Crawford from Manny. We get it-you are a manny fan so you are trying to make the best of a bad situation.

True, but he isn't going to lose and everyone that has a role in the decision making process-Bob, Manny, Manny's team, TR matchmakers-know Crawford will bludgeon Manny.

I am not trying to convince anyone of anything or get back at anyone. I don't recall saying Manny was scared of Crawford in this thread. I'm looking at the facts and making a conclusion based on them.

Manny avoided Crawford when Manny was champ and Crawford was the #1 WBO WW contender. Now that Crawford is fighting Horn and is expected to win, manny isn't moving toward fighting Crawford at ww but Loma in a CW, despite still being the #2 ranked WBo ww.

It has to end at some point and what better way than Top Rank getting Loma that win? Pacquaio will most likely fight Matthyse, maybe one more guy somewhere else and perhaps Loma in a different venue then possibly finish in Manila where he will sell regardless of what happens in a Loma fight.

Loma will just toy with him. Too quick, too skilled. He'll befuddle Pacquaio but he won't hurt him. The fight would likely be around 142/143 and Loma hasn't even fought at 135 yet and wasn't a huge puncher at 126.

This is why so few have any respect for you. You keep pretending Manny is young and has a whole career ahead of him instead of being honest that he has little value other than as an opponent since the Floyd loss.

Bob kept him from Floyd to keep the train ride going as long as possible. he keeps him from Crawford to keep the train ride from being over.

The same Jeff Horn that got a win over Pacquaio and holds the WBO title? That's an incredibly logical fight.

You don't need to protect Crawford at this point. He's one of the top 2 or 3 fighters in the sport and in his prime. He'd be favored over anyone in his weight class and a HUGE favorite over anybody not in the PBC stable. You need to protect Pacquaio at this point because he's close to 40, is a part time fighter and goes life and death with Horn level guys. He also still makes the company money so it's logical he'd be protected and milked.
