Stack GGG's resume against Wilder's any day. Wilder is feasting on no-hopers and journeymen for 40 fights. He gets credit for beating a 38 year old fattie as though he just beat a prime Tyson. GTFO!

What GGG is doing is unprecedented. He's going out of his way to pick a fighter who hasn't fought in 2 years and moving up a weight class.

dude you understand that HW walk around on wieght, and MW walk around in the 180s or 190s, right? it takes months for most of them to lose that kind of weight.

surely you understand why that is important, right? that one guy is a HW and the other is not?

and there's also the realty that one cannot promote alvarez 2 on ppv if you push the fight out.

i get it, golovkin is white and you don't like him, but think before you talk. canelo alvarez is 100% to blame for what happened here. 100%. he pulled out of the fight without enough time for a decent opponent. the only truly worthy MW that golokvin has not fought, bj saunders, hurt himself training for martin murray and his promoter said he woulnd't be available until june.

If I don't like GGG because he's white why were ppl calling me a GGG fanboy for sticking up for him when Canelo failed his test?
Why am i one of the few who has Usyk top 2 p4p?

stervine was not a worse opponent than vanes! A fighter who is 3-3 in his last 6 fights almost 3 years inavtive and never fought at 160! This is where you all lose me. Im not one to bash gggee for taking the fight given the circumstance but to try to elevate it above what it is is not good

I'm not trying to elevate but it's clearly a better opponent than Stiverne. I'm just pointing to these guys praising the Stiverne win (off of 2 years off and his last performance was trash getting dropped by a bum) have little room to bash Vanes and that 3-3 comes against much better opposition than Stiverne's. He deserved the W over Charlo, plus Lara and Andrade were at least competitive and better than anything Stiverne has ever fought let alone beaten. In fact Ishe is better than anything Stiverne ever beat too.

Then we've also got the fact that Stiverne is close to 40 and grossly out of shape.

people need to understand there are actually legit reasons to hate ggg when u step back and look...other than him being white

                im white...I don't like him

I like all of the other EE guys...at least have respect for them...I don't for golovkin...and there are many legit reasons why...

LOL, true. The same folks who bash GGG, Joshua and Loma's resume are the one's who talk Wilder's up as though he's gone through murderers row.

                    how is that end thread?

was stiverne a cruiserweight moving up to heavyweight?

                    also:

In 2016, the WBC ordered mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin to fight Stiverne for the interim WBC heavyweight title.

On November 11, the WBC were informed that Stiverne had tested positive for the banned substance methylhexaneamine. Stiverne claimed he ingested a supplement without knowing it contained the banned substance. The WBC took into account that it was Stiverne’s first offence when making its ruling and fined him $75,000. Just 20 hours before the fight was to take place, the WBC withdrew its sanction of the fight stating Povetkin had failed a drug test for ostarine. Stiverne declined to fight Povetkin.

thats the main reason why... cuz pedvetkin failed more than once...... stiverne ended up being next in line....

at least KNOW wtf you are talking about 1st

                      the golovkin fanboys are unreal

"hey lets pick apart wilders resume"

when guys were picking apart golovkins a little over a year ago it was "well they are top 10 MWs...ranked"....should have heard the excuses fly when lemiuex was ripped apart and we were told hes a different fighter now blah blah and every other excuse under the sun when that was golovkins best win
