And before you get into the hogwash of "everyone is a world champion these days". What does that say about guys like Vanes who have never won one?
We'll consider that Stiverne had to fight Arreola for it and Vanes actually fought Charlo, Andrade and Lara for titles and deserved the W over Charlo in a non title fight. He's not an elite fighter far from it but he's better than Stiverne for sure.

He fought his mandatory he doesn't get to choose his mandatories
is this really worse than the WBA putting the HW vacant belt on the line when Wlad hasn't won a fight in almost 3 years?

The difference in GGG situation is IBF hasn't ordered a mandatory and the WBC did for Wilder

While I agree that he should've fought a much better opponent than Vanes, you can't compare a fat bum like Stiverne to Charlo or Derevyachenko who are undefeated, solid and in shape MWs.

You are starting about three or four threads a day complaining about GGG fighting Vanes. If you hate the fight then just don't watch it. Saying how much you hate the fight and hate GGG over and over day after day won't make the fight any better.. What does Wilder have to do with it? Wilder has defended his title against guys most of us never heard of who were rated number 40 or 50 by boxrec. GGG is fighting Vanes and all your crying won't change that. He was ready to fight Canelo for the second time and before that he fought Jacobs so he isn't the cherry picker you are making him out to be. You have trashed the GGG vs Vanes fight about 100 times now so why don't you give it a rest.

The big difference is Wilder made it very well known he didn’t wanna fight Stiverne and thought he didn’t deserve too be mando by had no choice but too fight... GGG had a choice but was crunched for time...

Stiverne was damaged goods after the 1st Wilder fight he should've never fought again but the man Don King worked his magic and got his corpse the number one ranking
