Agreed, if NSAC had suspended him quicker, or not set the hearing out ridiculously far (rescheduling for the 10th to the 18th because... no reason at all really) we would not be in this mess.

Exactly what I've been trying to tell people. Had NSAC just followed their own bylaws and suspension protocols as soon as they reported he was dirty and suspended him right then and there, GGG could easily find a replacement, have enough time to promote it, and not have to screw with his training camp.

That's the irony in all this. remember all they years of GGG begging for mandatory title shots, calling for these ABC orgs to follow their rules, mocked other fighters calling them business men not real fighters because they worried about their paydays and playing the risk vs reward game. Now GGG has his Keith Thurman to Pauly "Stop ducking me sthun" karma payback. He's now the one holding belts hostage (hasn't defended against his IBF mandatory in 2 years) and is too scared to fight his mandatory or anyone with a pulse when he has a future payday cash out on the line that he is trying to protect.

The same clowns who defended GGG on his stance years ago have now gone full re tard and flip flopped and now making the case that fighters made AGAINST GGG. So is GGG now a Diva, a sellout, and anything else you called Sergio, Cotto, Canelo, Floyd, ect for years? Or do rules only apply when it's in favor of what's easier and best for GGG?

Only problem with this is:

1. IBF has yet to mandate this fight. It's only been conjecture from Lou about the IBF belt. Until the IBF mandates him to fight Sergiy, then GGG is free to fight voluntary opponents.

2. If the HBO budget was $2m there would be no issue at all. I'm hearing HBO is not willing to go over 1.5m. To have a champ who is holding 3 belts, who hasn't gotten any less than $4m in his last 4 fights fight for a $1m purse is saddening and an insult.

Using Loeffler’s logic I’m not sure anyone would be “suitable” for him or more importantly HBO. Money and only money is the driving force in any of these fights. K2 should be forced to have Golovkin fight the mandatory opponent if that mandatory is willing and able to fight. Bad business this boxing business.

I find it funny how GGG fans claimed how Mayweather was a coward and cherry picker. Especially when FLoyd had put in the work beating top fighters on his way to being a PPV Star. People on here claiming GGG is the best MW ever and deserves a soft fight after fighting Canelo and Jacobs, yet criticized who Floyd fought. All of sudden GGG has all these top fighter willing to fight him and now wants no part of any of them after beating cans all his career.

None of this matters if Canelo gets a 1 year suspension. GGG fights this meaningless fight on May 5th, the IBF orders negotiations to start for the mandatory, Saunders unification fight trumps the Mandatory fight, GGG wins all the belts and breaks the record. Then Canelo comes back and GGG drops the IBF title and fights Canelo in May 2019. Don't waste your time crying for this fight because it's not happening.
