the clown Loeffler and Vanes both basically confirmed yesterday what I always felt. The money is VERY low. It also explains why Spike turned down their deal. He agreed to all the terms weeks ago when the fight was scheduled to be at the MGM Vegas on PPV. Once Loeffler realized that GGG wouldn't be able to sell at the MGM and to avoid a disaster where GGG is in a half empty arena they moved the fight out of vegas and off PPV to avoid a PPV flop. Then begged HBO to finance it but HBO isn't ****** and is only giving them a limited budget. That means you are left with two options

1. BOTH fighters take a equal discount
2. You give almost the entire budget to GGG and give literally nothing to the opponent

They are being cheap GGG doesn't want to take much of a paycut to make a better fight. Vanes himself was asked about the money and said I don't care about money if I win I'll get money after. Loeffler admitting they don't have money to offer as an excuse for ducking the IBF mandatory but how do you know what they are willing to fight for when you refuse to even negotiate a fight with Lou?

This. I'd like to see if this is the case. If it is then it makes sense. But so far neither dibella or loeffler has come out and said sergey won't fight for this amount.

It's just unbelievable to me that Loeffler has a declined, 36 year old fighter, but he's still talking about building up fights and marinating fights. He clearly has no idea what he's doing. Go marinate your star fighter straight into a loss as he declines more and more every month! Smart move Tom! You should have looked to make these fights last year, when GGG was a year younger, but now you're looking to make them even later as if GGG isn't old enough.

BS Spike was willing and agreed to all terms WEEKS ago when the fight was still scheduled to take place in Vegas on PPV for more money. Then GGG camp went the cheap route took it to Stubhub and offered him shyt compared to his original offer. Even Loeffler admitting he don't have money to pay Dervy who is even LESS known then Spike. Vanes is only getting the fight because he's the only bum willing to take the fight for virtually no money. He said flat out I don't care about the money I know if I win I will get money later. If Golden Boy was trying to prevent GGG from making a fight they wouldn't of had Canelo cancel the fight and waited until April 18 when it was officially canceled by Nevada. They canceled the fight to give Loeffler more time to sign and promote a fight and gave them Spike. And after Loeffler couldn't pay for spike when the fight moved to stubhub they gave them Falcao a prospect ranked even lower then Spike aka a cheaper fighter. It's always been about picking the worst and cheapest fighter for GGG. Look at the fighters who have been in the running from day 1. GGG been looking for fights in the trash can turning down better fighters. They don't want a risk and they don't want to pay. That's why Spike walked when they lowered the money terms from what he saw weeks ago.

That's the irony in all this. remember all they years of GGG begging for mandatory title shots, calling for these ABC orgs to follow their rules, mocked other fighters calling them business men not real fighters because they worried about their paydays and playing the risk vs reward game. Now GGG has his Keith Thurman to Pauly "Stop ducking me sthun" karma payback. He's now the one holding belts hostage (hasn't defended against his IBF mandatory in 2 years) and is too scared to fight his mandatory or anyone with a pulse when he has a future payday cash out on the line that he is trying to protect.

The same clowns who defended GGG on his stance years ago have now gone full re tard and flip flopped and now making the case that fighters made AGAINST GGG. So is GGG now a Diva, a sellout, and anything else you called Sergio, Cotto, Canelo, Floyd, ect for years? Or do rules only apply when it's in favor of what's easier and best for GGG?

Fringe middleweight contender Gary "Spike" O'Sullivan (27-2, 19 KOs), of Ireland, appeared as though he would be the opponent earlier this week until he declined an offer for the fight on Wednesday. He had agreed to terms, but when Loeffler had to dramatically reduce the money being offered after the fight was moved from HBO PPV to HBO, O'Sullivan rejected it.

And even Loeffler confirmed this himself. They have LESS money to pay now that the fight has gone to HBO instead of PPV. I'll take the word of Loeffler and other reporters who actually follow all this over yours! If there is more money on the table for a future Spike/Lemieux fight then the pennies GGG is offering fighters that explains why they trying to fight Vanes who himself said he's not getting paid much.
