Time to end the train wreck.

Set the fight back to June, and tell us a go for Saunders. IBF will allow a unification, no problem.

That's the irony in all this. remember all they years of GGG begging for mandatory title shots, calling for these ABC orgs to follow their rules, mocked other fighters calling them business men not real fighters because they worried about their paydays and playing the risk vs reward game. Now GGG has his Keith Thurman to Pauly "Stop ducking me sthun" karma payback. He's now the one holding belts hostage (hasn't defended against his IBF mandatory in 2 years) and is too scared to fight his mandatory or anyone with a pulse when he has a future payday cash out on the line that he is trying to protect.

The same clowns who defended GGG on his stance years ago have now gone full re tard and flip flopped and now making the case that fighters made AGAINST GGG. So is GGG now a Diva, a sellout, and anything else you called Sergio, Cotto, Canelo, Floyd, ect for years? Or do rules only apply when it's in favor of what's easier and best for GGG?

Or fight the IBF mandatory in June.

Whatever, just cancel May 5th as NOONE is "clamouring" for Golovkin to face Vanes or another no-hope opponent.

Why all this talk of money? I thought Golovkin was a real fighter not a businessman?

He really thinks that somehow him fighting on Cinco De Mayo even if it's a disaster against a 154lber that nobody cares about will make him a superstar. LMAO

GGG is the one who is fixated on this date. A date that has NO SIGNFICANCE to a kazaphukstan fighter. He's not mexican, he's not fighting a mexican, he's never fought on cinco de mayo, he's not fighting in vegas and he's not fighting on PPV. At this point somebody should explain to this idiot that this is hurting his image especially if it costs him the IBF belt in the process. There is no difference to a fighter like GGG fighting on May 5 then say June 15. Move the date get a real opponent more time to promote it and you can please your fans with a better fight. Everybody wins. Loeffer is over his head but he isn't an idiot. Unless this isn't about belts or fans and loeffler is just doing what GGG tells him the date should be canceled. This is a bad look for GGG and somebody needs to explain that to him.
If you were Loeffler would you have already have called someone at the Nsac with the inside track and asked them how long canelos ban Will be? It's probably a badly kept secret.
So better to get the fight out the way on may 5th if it's a six month fine.

Loeffler explained Thursday in Los Angeles that there’s not enough money in the license fee HBO has agreed to pay to televise Golovkin’s May 5 fight to make it worthwhile

See how it all came around, truth always comes out. Money is the main catalyst in this and any business. Ggg built his fan base on lies.
GGG and the lies he built his fanbase are on crumbling around him.

He will make FAR more money against Canelo than he ever could against Derevyanchenko, or even Saunders. As much as you may not care, this money affects the fighter's, his family's, his promoter's etc.'s lives. I am in no way excited for whatever mismatch we get on May 5th, but I at least acknowledge why it has to be that way. Grow up.
Where is the guarantee that Canelo is gonna fight him, EVER, again? Any credible sources or anything from Canelo himself other conjuncture to avoid the mandatory?
