If they are not mandating the fight, make that clear.

To not be clear about whether you will strip GGG if he fights someone else is totally ridiculous.

We'll tell you whether you are guilty after you commit the crime.
they are all waiting on the canelo hearing...
those mexican tacos really created a mess here...

No way don't use that BS money excuse if that was the case you would have took the Canelo fight. You knew once GGG called Canelo out on using steroids and the fight was cancelled that there was no other fight GGG could take to make that kind of money. So of course the money is going to be lower that's the consequences of cancelling the Canelo fight. GGG age is getting up there he should have just taken the Canelo fight and got his money now he runs the risk of missing out on that payday. Secondly Sergiy is asking for the fight so evidently he's not concerned with the pay give the man his shot. Besides GGG should be able to beat the guy anyway just do it.

Asking Golovkin to face a mandatory for less than a million dollars and on three weeks notice does seem crazy. Yeah champ and belts and honor, but this is also a business. You have to balance those competing interests.

Derevnachenko couldn't fill a craps table. This fight does need a build up.

If Nevada had not dragged it's feet and suspended Clenelo back in early March, we would have had enough time to build up the fight.

This really backfired on GGG and Abel ddnt it? All that **** talking, kicking up a storm about how the Nv commission were *********s, hiw they should be in jail, how they let canelo get away with ****, only tied the commissions hands. So the commission had to go the route they are going. Also what I found strange why is Loeffler saying a lot depends on what happens at canelos hearing on the 18th?

You guys seem to lack the ability to imagine yourself in someone else's shoes. They are trying to preserve the Canelo rematch. They aren't likely to delay a fight until June, because that could potentially interfere with promotion for a September rematch with Canelo. He will make FAR more money against Canelo than he ever could against Derevyanchenko, or even Saunders. As much as you may not care, this money affects the fighter's, his family's, his promoter's etc.'s lives. I am in no way excited for whatever mismatch we get on May 5th, but I at least acknowledge why it has to be that way. Grow up.

Looking at the latest IBF rankings, Jacobs, Charlo and Canelo are next in line after Derevyanchenko, but all of them are otherwise engaged.

After those 3, it's Andrade, who Derevyanchenko has been wanting anyway. Even more so with a world title up for grabs.
yup and I think it’s safe to say most if not all boxing fans would like that fight. Hope ibf mandates

Agreed, if NSAC had suspended him quicker, or not set the hearing out ridiculously far (rescheduling for the 10th to the 18th because... no reason at all really) we would not be in this mess.

So Spike turned it down because the money is terrible and he will make more fighting Lemiux later this year. Vanes isn't getting a career payday he's admitted the payday is low and so has Loeffler but you upset that Spike unlike Vanes wasn't willing to take a shyt offer? then blame GGG camp not Golden Boy. there are millions of fighters out there that have NOTHING to do with golden boy why wasn't loeffler able to get someone better then Vanes? And he could of had spike weeks ago when Spike himself said he agreed to all terms and was waiting for GGG to sign. Then Loeffler scrapped the venue and city of the fight drastically dropped the budget and expected Spike to be ok with getting a far worse payday then what they discussed weeks ago? The phuk up is on GGG side stop blaming everyone else.

You are assuming GGG and Abel have an awful lot of power and influence. It's entirely possible Golovkin's team had zero influence on what the Nevada commission did.

Correlation is not causation as they say in statistics.
