Yes, but most likely Wilder will lose this fight. Let's be honesty it's not 50/50. 30/70 or maybe 35/65. That's why Wilder's team should first of all sell their belt in the first bout and only then think about the rematch.

So Parker gets 35% and you want Wilder to take a flat fee and not 35-40%? I’m no big Wilder fan but lots of clueless fans here

        You have very interesting thoughts!

With all the jabbering wilder would do before the fight, that’s awesome promo you can’t put a price on, give him anywhere between 35%-40%

Otherwise let’s all just move on cause Eddie and AJ lowballing is petty

All fighters when they enter the pro ranks are in it for the money. Some fighters put more emphasis on it than others.

Wilder won't except 12.5 million why should he when this fight will generate 100 million plus. This fight will be PPV in both UK and USA alot of countries television will pay for the privilege of showing it live and not to mention the advertising packages.

Team Wilder is asking for 40% and Team Joshua is still getting a bigger slice of the pie. This fight has the potential to be a big money spinner for a triology.

I liked Joshua when he turned pro he was so humble, but this is all gone to his head and the greediness of Hearn is everything what is wrong with the modern day boxing.

If the fight doesn't go ahead the blame will be at Team Joshua's door.

From all reports the offer didn’t include a date , venue or a rematch clause

The least Hearn could do if he the public into believing this was a credible offer would to be include a rematch clause something that seems to be included in all AJ fights and taking Wilder up on his offer that they’d take that flat fee in the case they lost.

People don't realize this. Just look at the Mayweather- McGregor fight. Connor didn't see that kind of money. Not even close. But when the fight is pulling in millions more than both fighters have made 60-40 split would be fine for both fighters.

The offer should be much more reasonable than a lowball flat fee. Chances are we get a 12 round snoozer or somebody gets blasted out in a round or 2. Either way, rematch is not likely to generate the same interest from the public or revenue from the networks. Let’s not assume that we are going to get 2 or 3 Hager/Hearns type fights. The climate is not going to get any better than now to make a big revenue fight. Either guy taking an interim does nothing for the bottom line.
