Can't believe so many would chose Hurd over Charlo. I'm calling it now, Charlo knocks him out within four rounds. He cant walk through Charlo's shots. He has no defense, that works for these light punchers, not for a lion like Charlo. Hell Lara made him pause with a few shots last night.

I'm with you on this one, I don't see Hurd as a slick enough fighter to beat Charlo. What round he takes out Hurd in? I'd say the later rnds, 10,11,12. Or he may surprise us and go the distance....Hurd reminds me of a much "lighter & faster" version of a young - brace yourself: George Foreman! Hurds straight rights & lefts are something George didn't do as much, so as far as those punches go, Hurd is different, but imo, he's as basic as George was with not much extra in offense OR defence.....

I predicted Lara was gonna get KO'd when the fight was 1st announced and thought my prediction would come to fruition when Hurd dropped him and nearly took him out. Because Hurd is BIGGER, tougher, HUNGRY, younger and RELENTLESS as a pressure fighter is why I thought he'd win and because of Laras style.....

Lara is a good "mover" that can catch an opponent on the fly with sweet single punches & 2 punch combos, but he STOPS in his tracks too often to mix it up leaving himself just as open as someone who's NOT a mover! That "pressure" brought out the "give & take" fighter in Lara, which is something he's NOT proficient in. Laras good, but he aint no Mayweather when it comes to movement and sneaky punch variety!

What got me in your post is the number of times I have picked against the Charlo brothers, and I keep losing those. I did settle on Hurd beating Lara by a late round KO after going back and forth on that fight, which I am sure I will do with Charlo which is pretty close to a pick 'em fight.

Let's see it get signed. Than I will start flipping coins, Hurd will be heads (more titles) and Charlo will be tails. My pick will be whomever wins the best of 27 flips.

But Jermell who doesn't really punch harder than Lara or Trout I guess with a record of 30 wins (15 kos)

I would be more worried about Jermell's defense in that one.
Hurd could throw all the kitchen at Lara past 6 rounds, so Jermell is getting it sooner IMO.

Last time I checked, Jermell best win was Vanes and it wasn't a one side win at all.

The CHarlettes getting a reality check sooner or later.
Hurd is the dog at 154 and Jermall isn't passing the GGG and Jacobs lines IMO.
