Isn't the "Arum only does in house fights" talk getting old now? The same folks that regurgitate that swore he'd freeze Rigo out and was scared of him and then he was only using Linares as some sort of ploy for Beltran keep running with it.

Crawford may not get all of the PBC guys (PBC keeps it in house just as much if not more than any other promoter) but he'll likely get the last man standing. Hopefully that's soon enough. Hopefully it's Spence as I think he'd go straight from Thurman to Crawford whereas Thurman will take time off if he wins and then tuneups.

Spence will take your '0' if you venture in his direction.

I understand what you're saying but you can't compare Rigo and Linares to Thurman and Spence. Both Rigo and Linares were never proven ticket sellers. They don't have the backing of a network like both Spence and Thurman do. Linares fights on HBO but he's making 250k per fight. Did Bud fight other PBC fighters in Diaz and Molina, Yes, but those ain't top fighters and even with Diaz, Arum needed options to make the fight. Showtime has as much invested in Spence and Thurman as ESPN has with Arums fighters. If the money is right and Showtime pays more, we all know Arum still wouldn't let Crawford fight off ESPN. WE just saw it with Linares, where HBO was willing to pay more for the fight.

Both of you have solid points. I think Crawford will eventually fight whoever is left standing between Spence and Thurman because by the time Spence and Thurman fight, Crawford vs the winner will be the biggest fight in boxing so ESPN and Showtime will figure something out.

Maybe, maybe not. Personally I think it would be a hell of a matchup. Styles make fights and we're yet to see how their styles would work together. Spence has big time power and solid fundamentals but Crawford is slicker, has more tools and can adjust on the fly. At the same time, if Spence catches Crawford clean in the first few rounds while he's figuring Spence out, it could very well be goodnight.

I didn't think that Crawford shirt was that bad also. Floyd certainly wears some questionable attire outside the ring sometimes. Once he was dressed like a gay horse jockey . His in ring attire was usually decent though.
