If Joshua was fighting people like gavern after 30 fights...

Would he get a pass from people on this forum? I mean, he didn't have much amateur experience either did he? Know he won gold but wilder won bronze. Would people be praising how Hearn had guided his career, if he was fighting people like that past the 30 fight mark and waiting to fight number 40 to fight a live opponent? Would people say Joshua deserves respect and is a true warrior? Would they dismiss people who didn't respect that as morons ? What do people think.....

No chance. Any one that disagrees with this is a Wilder fanboy.

No other HW in history has got away with Wilder's record.

Just imagine from this point Joshua needing 20 more fights before fighting a risky opponent, whilst avoiding a prime champ (like wilder did wlad) by saying they aren't ready when theyve gone well past the 30 mark.

Come on Dramashow. Looking at Wilder fight, gavern was exactly the level of opponent he should be facing given where he was.

Most guys with 30 fights are more developed than Wilder. hell guys with 10 fights are more developed.

        Wasn't the case with him.

All that matters now is he has enough power to make Hearn worry about AJ fighting him next and risking AJ's long term earning potential.

Well, Valuev did. He had even worse resume in the first 39 fights. His biggest name was 5'9'' shot cruiserweight Dominguez whom he barely beat in a freak fight.

So what's the problem with Joshua ironing out his flaws, whilst still facing good competition other than Wilder, is that not double standards?

Nope, they would be bashing the hell out of AJ.

Wilder has fought 2 top 10 Heavyweights. When he won his WBC Belt in 2015 against Stiverne and his last fight against Ortiz.

I'm not tripping on either guy yet though, as long as they fight each other by the end of the year or at the latest, early next year, I'm good.

So why is a fighter allowed to have 39 fights without taking a gamble. I don't understand why you have to go to all them lengths to protect an 0 at all cost. Just take a risk, if you lose you lose. Learn from it, and move on. I don't like this process of having to painstakingly guide someone to avoid any chance of them losing a fight. Got Joyce going after chisora after 3 fights. Lomachenko lost in his 2nd fight, wow how terrible, he learnt and now he's p4p number 1. This obsession with doing everything possible to avoid taking an 0, even if it means mismatch after mismatch, is What s ruining boxing, and I don't understand how people can be fans of that. Luckily quite a few of the euros are moving themselves on a lot quicker now.

AJ is far superior to Wilder. You know this.

If you are ok with AJ waiting to fight Wilder, fine. You just can't justify it like this. The optics are bd because 99% of boxing fans/media believe AJ will win the fight.

Just admit the delay is so he can fight 2 or 3 lucrative fights-Miller, Whyte 2, Fury- and move on.
