I don't think every figure or fighter that is in the Hall of Fame should be in there, but again it doesn't matter what we think. They are going to induct whoever they feel worthy of putting in the Hall of Fame. Nothing we can do about it.

      What is a defining moment?

Yes, it's really not too difficult to become a HOF.

Impossible to have a factual boxing discussion with a Mexican fan without feelings getting involved.

Do I really need to answer that?

Has he been one of the biggest names in boxing for six years? That satisfies the fame part. Is he an ATG? Not to me but I'm a fan.

Nice way to dodge my argument.

                  Really?

I could've sworn he was fighting guys like Gregor Proksa and Nobuhiro Ishida back then.

He's 36 and at the top of the game. It just shows how skillful and technical he is that at his age he can still outbox and outjab a guy 10 years younger. Not sure I know of too many fighters than can do that. At 36 you loses most of your reflexes and speed. Hopkins was one. Roy jones jr was getting koed cold by journey man at 36. Where was hagler and leonard at 36?

Let's wait til his career is over before we speculate. For all we know, he could KO Canelo cold in May and everyone will act like he is an ATG. I would prefer to sit back and see how his career goes. Similar to wilder.
