For about 5 or 6 rounds nothing was fkn happening, all I heard was people booing at those two bums. Both of them are useless...ortiz is way over 40, his triple stomach layers are telling me all i need to know about how serious he takes his boxing, watched his fight before wilder's fight..some pub regular who had no idea how to spell 'jab' let alone throw one. And what about the doctor helping chicken legged wilder? Why didn't they check on ortiz when he got knocked down? Well I really hope they got a doctor around if he fights Joshua because joshua will send him to a different dimension.

    Wilder's record is a joke

funny how wilder is being attacked by people here for his lack of boxing skill, but *****ed about the Klitchkos for being boring. make up your damn minds.

The latter, however, got whooped repeatedly by Venus Williams. I don't think anyone in their right mind will say that Venus is a greater player than Serena.

Same here - no one, and I mean no one, is saying Ortiz is a greater fighter than Wlad. The simplest way to measure greatness is just looking at the numbers. It's a beatdown for Wlad over Ortiz. However, who knows?

Is it possible that if Ortiz and Wlad fought, the former could have won more often than not? Yes, and vice-versa too. That does not now mean that the Wlad who fought AJ was better than the Ortiz who fought Wilder - we can never tell that. Styles make fights!
Imo, head to head, 41 yo Wlad would beat 38 yo Ortiz every time, and he would do it easily. Even if you forget about Ortiz failing 3 PED tests, and needing medication for hypertension when he fought Wilder, just compare their accomplishments as amateurs, and their pro records.

Wlad is just better than Ortiz, on a whole different level. I don't see how anyone could argue otherwise.

AJ as a fighter of course wants the fight as does Wilder, but Hearn is the one standing in the way due to his greed and ego.
Is that why he invited Wilder to attend the AJ vs Parker fight and call out the winner?

Does that make sense to you?

            Likewise Estrada-Rungvisai too IMO.

I enjoyed Wilder-Ortiz live because of the tension and felt it was a good fight (definitely not great) but it had great moments. I'll probably never watch it again because some of the rounds were boring and the technique was ugly. I watched Joshua-Klitshcko again because that was a great fight.

Yeah it’s not going to be an easy fight for either one, unless they caught each other cold, having said that I like the way Wilder conduct himself when he was hurt in the Ortiz fight. But he needs to keep his hands up when he is hurt. AJ keeps his hands up when he gets buzz or hurt, Mayweather does the same. Wilder hands are always down when he gets buzz. He need to work on that.

We don't know that although you are entitled to your opinion on that. Wlad struggled with a Corrie Sanders and was getting dropped earlier in his career. Could he have issues with a lefty in Ortiz? Quite possibly. maybe he walks all over Ortiz too. All we have so far are opinions. The most important fact is they never fought - as such we don't know.

One other thing - I believe Wlad was on PEDs too at a particular time, AJ too. I just think they were not caught so far but won't have been surprised one bit.

SkySports invited Wilder. How do you know of a fact that it was Hearns who specifically requested that?

Wilder was hurt more by the left than the right hook in the 7th. That's what really messed him up in my opinion. Then, Ortiz pounced. AJ was dropped by Wlad - allowed some time to recover. Wilder was not dropped so he had no time during the onslaught to recover. He was reacting and showed great composure.

It's all true but Wilder will be still dangerous, AJ better put him down early in the fight.
