My question is why is Canelo training in Mexico when he has to be aware that contamination is a possibility?

Now regardless of whether he was cheating or not,his reputation is forever damaged.
Ignorance for the German players can be explained. They probably didn't have a personal assistant to help with food. Hell, u17 aren't necessarily what one would could consider pros.

It hadn't been covered by the media by that point. Not German or English speaking media at least.

They were in a foreign country, and if they spoke Spanish, it would been very limited.

None of the applies to Canelo.
      He has no excuse.

As a stimulant, it would only benefit in cutting weight or by taking the night of the event. It wouldn't benefit you taking a stimulant months before the event. But I understand these details will be ignored by people who will label Canelo a drug cheat and call him by 3rd grade level nicknames from here on forward.

Now you know more about Clen than the experts and organizations that have banned it? Ok...

From the same link you quoted.

"All of the values were below 1ng/ml and therefore in the range of potential meat contamination cases."

So anything under 1 is a pass. Doesn't matter what i think i'll leave that to the experts.

And 1 nanograms = 1000 picograms. In the case of the cyclist Contador who was stripped of his titles for 50 picograms, the Court of Arbitration of Sport later ruled that "Contador probably tested positive due to a contaminated food supplement."

In response to GGG Gloveking, no I don't know better than WADA but I believe that some of these banned substances particularly the stimulants won't help if taken months before the event. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...banned_by_WADA
