I agree. Joshua has the potential to become A level i don't think he's there yet.

Fore example, Ortiz may be more "technical" than guys like Joshua and Fury but they dominate in a way that is clearly better than anything Ortiz does. No way in hell does a guy like Joshua let Wilder off the hook the way Ortiz did. Hell, I don't even think a guy like Fury would allow Wilder to be saved by the bell and if he did, he would be sure to keep control of the fight. Let's take Peterson for example, Peterson is more technical than Keith but Keith is a much more dominant fighter and that's what makes him A-level and Peterson B-level.

Depends on what your definition of a A & B level fighter. I've heard all sorts of weird takes on what a A & B level guy is.

I consider any top 10 guy (and up to top 20 in deeper more competitive divisions) A level, but some mfers consider the number 7 guy in the world a f#cking D level bum.

I definitely thought Ortiz was a top 5 guy & I was more critical of him then most. And I think I consider him the 3rd best guy in the division now & I'd favor him over Parker if they fought...and I've love to see them fight for the number 3 spot if Parker loses to Joshua later this month.

AJ has the most potential out of the current HW’s but I doubt he’ll ever become a true elite fighter. This division is weak as ****, there’s such a lack of fundamental skills in these modern day HW’s. It feels like nowadays If you’re a great athlete with power that’s enough to become a HW champion.

If you consider guys like the Charlos, Jacobs, and GGG as A-level you have to at least consider Fury and Joshua as A-level fighters.

Interesting take but you have to admit that guys like Fury and Joshua have pretty good fundamentals. Hell, I think Prime Tyson vs either one of those guys is a 50-50 fight.

Fury isn’t active, I’d possibly consider him A level based on the Wlad performance.
AJ has nowhere as good a skill set as GGG. Jacobs and Charlo are both much more skilled than AJ, Wilder etc also, but even they are more B+ level IMO.

Please don't put PEDs abuser Holyfield in the same sentence than ATG boxers.

He's a B+ level imo. Top 5 guy, around the same level as guys like Parker and Povetkin and a notch above lower B level guys like Pulev and Miller. The only A level guys are Joshua, Wilder and possibly Fury if he can get close to his 2015 form

AJ doesn’t have great fundamentals, he’s basic and compact at least, but his footwork, defence, head movement, punch variation etc are all below average. However, because he’s such a good athlete with explosive hands, he’s able to get away with it. Wilder is a very similar story.
