He can not afford to do that against a young fit Fury, Parker or any HW with a good chin and stamina.
While I do think Parker can confuse WIlder with his footwork in the beginning I dont think he will be able to avoid that power and reach for a full twelve rounds. I think he gets Parker out of there. As for Fury, I honestly dont know because he hasnt fought in so long and even the best version of fury will get hit as least once and Fury went down against Cunningham HARD and he was a cruiserweight and is not even known as a puncher

I remember when he was talking to fiddy cent either on Periscope or Face time at the Mayweather gym or at Floyd's house, he was taking **** about how he was going to *** up Deontay Wilder for fun. Now when I think about it. He's one fake sneaky mofo
The guy is fake as they come, trust me my older brother knew him from before the olympics, yes he has changed a bit but he is putting up so much PR shlt because that’s what sells here. You have to be quiet and not trash talk if you want to be a name in the UK, you basically have to be like a elder tea lady as a boxer in the UK, they would see you as zero threat and “one of their own” etc

But in reality away from the cameras etc that guy is a nasty piece of work.

Like you pointed out it’s difficult to tell which Fury would come back, the Fury that got KD by cunningham was a fury that was learning his trade. Parker for me has a great stamina, good chin albeit against lower skilled fighters compare to Wilder, but I really do think he can do a job on Wilder. Especially if Wilder doesn’t do anything for the first 4 rounds like he did against Ortiz.

Ortiz nullified Wilder's jab because of the lefty and his ring craft. Please, let's stop acting like AJ has the ring craftiness that Ortiz does - AJ doesn't. AJ does not move his head. He is a come forward kind of fighter and cannot fight on the backfoot.

How then does he beat Wilder? He will have to catch Wilder and destabilize him for AJ to win. AJ's chances of winning are slimmer in my opinion than Wilder's. Wilder can win early or late. AJ can only win early - again my opinion.

The hype around AJ will be his downfall. Winning an olympic gold medal is why he is being hyped up the most. It is easier to support and justify but looking at the match ups, AJ's most important advantages (his compact shots and combinations) require a stationary target and someone who prefers to fight up close. Wilder is neither of those - prefers range and is not stationary.
Actually, those are great arguments and I haven't looked at it like that. Food for thought.

Thumbs up to you. I like it when people make me look at the sport differently.

I just think Wilder would try to impose his size on Parker and maybe even walk him down. If Parker can punch WIlder from some weird angles he may have a shot. I just think Wilder is too big and powerful for Parker. I will know more about Parker after March 31st. Looking forward to that fight!

Yeah we would see how strong Parker is against a better opponent in Parker. The HW division is looking great .

I was right on the Hearn backhanded compliment...his quote today on here, "Saturday was a great fight and Deontay showed plenty of heart. He hardly won a round outside of the fifth and looked finished in the seventh. It was a great finish and a big night for him." So you might be correct.

Thanks, bro. I like both fighters although on this forum, you are almost forced to take one over the other due to the delusional folks on here trying to act as if AJ is vastly superior to Wilder. AJ is obviously the more technically-skilled fighter and likes to fight in position 1 and 2 (up close and mid-range), Wilder prefers positions 2 and 3 (mid range and long-range).

AJ's biggest punches are his right hand and the upper cut. He can throw the former from any position but will need Wilder to be at 2, preferably 3 to throw the uppercut.

I just think the matchup ultimately favors Wilder because he brings more weapons to the table, i.e., he is more agile, more power, pivots better, better stamina, much better back-foot fighting, moves head better and most importantly is awkward.

The haters, however, only see Wilder's power. Everything else I have stated in the last paragraph gets ignored.

All you haters remember this is coming from a fellow top heavys promoter. And he must have did this on the spot because HIS MAN is fightin Joshua and he just called Wilder as THE MAN TO BEAT.And also said he is the biggest puncher in division. Now just ROOT FOR BOXING and hope these two fight next.Thats if Joshua beats Parker and as long as he losses some weight the right way he should.
